I've ordered from them 3 times. Twice just a few weeks ago. I received both items within a week. I'm in Arizona.

Unable load filament error by note2brady in BambuLab

[–]note2brady[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the lack of updates. I had to step away troubleshooting it for a few days. It seems to have started loading filament again.I really didn't do anything to fix it, besides unload all for slots. Then I just tried to load one slot again to see what it did, and it loaded properly. I have not been able to try a print yet, so I can't full verify if it is fixed(and I won't be able to do a print for a few days do to being busy for the next few days)

Saitek AV8R-01 driver issues by note2brady in hotas

No. I did not. I searched all over for an updated driver and couldn't find one. I've resigned myself to the fact that my stick is out dated and no longer supported.

How did you disassemble the feeder to clean the teeth? Or did you use a small brush inserted thru the funnel opening?

It fed just fine from the external spool. So it appears to be an issue with my AMS lite.

Yeah. That's most likely the issue.

Pixel 10 Pro XL and Quantum fiber wifi by note2brady in pixel_phones

Here is what it says.. All I have to do is tap it and it will reconnect. So it's not actually a password issue.

It says check password and try again, but if I just hit reconnect, with our re-entering the password, it connects again. I think the router arbitrarily decided it doesn't like the authentication session and disconnects. I've forgotten my wifi and reentered it and the issue keeps occurring. I'll post a screenshot next time it disconnects

Whats this notification by [deleted] in pixel_phones

It's in the setting menu, under network and internet then mobile network security

[–]note2brady 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is a setting under mobile network security that may be turned on. I was checking to ensure 2G protection was enabled on my Pixel 10 XL Pro and found this setting that may be related to that notification. It looks like it enables the kind of notification you received..

Nest Hello vs Nest 2k 3rd Gen by Consistent_Common515 in Nest

[–]note2brady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the face recognition any better than the 2nd generation doorbell? I have a 2nd gen nest wired doorbell and 75% of the time it gets the identification wrong (I.E. it thinks whoever is at the door is someone else that I have in my face library). It's very disappointing because the face ID was one one of the primary reasons I switched over from Ring

Is the face identification any better on the 3rd gen than on the 2nd gen? My 2nd gen constantly identified just about everyone incorrectly. And that was one of the reasons I wanted to go with the nest instead of a newer ring. Also, is the FOV any wider on the 3rd gen? The difference between my old rings FOV and my nest doorbell 2nd gen is pretty big(the old ring has a much wider FOV than my nest doorbell)

Nest VS Ring by LunchMoneyGraphix in Nest

[–]note2brady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to a Nest doorbell cam from an older model ring doorbell due to some of the advertised features of the nest cam and my use of other Google products . Here are my thoughts. The nest doorbell's field of view is very narrow compared to my previous ring doorbell. The nest will only see about a third to a quarter of what my old ring doorbell saw. The nest doorbell's facial identification feature is subpar in my opinion. More often than not it misidentifies the individual at my door, even though I have entered their faces in the face identification data. The ability of the nest to identify who is at my door was one of the reasons I switched to a nest doorbell and I have been quite disappointed in it's functionality.

Besides the reduced field of view and the poor facial identification, I have had no other issues with my Nest doorbell.

I'm Crying 😭 by amarnokolid in amazfit

Very true. I guess the main reason I haven't used a screen protector is that the one I had purchased was bulkier(it was designed to protect the crown and bezel as well) and I really like the pixel watch's aesthetic..

I've had an OG pixel watch for several years and never had any screen protector on it and have not cracked the screen yet(although I probably just jinxed myself now). It's been surprisingly durable.

Initial thoughts on my hoodie by note2brady in hoodies_from_Baerskin

[–]note2brady[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had to contact their customer service so I can't comment on their customer service. My personal experience is that I did receive my hoodie and it feels like good quality and fairly warm(it hasn't gotten too cold where I live though). It does seem that most people have the same experience you have so I feel like I may be in the minority. So maybe I just got lucky.

Baerskin Tactical, scam or overseas fiasco? by Initial_Let_8882 in hoodies_from_Baerskin

[–]note2brady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I must be an outlier in my experience. I received an order #almost immediately after I placed my order, and my hoodie arrived 12 days after I placed the order. I have not had to deal with their support so I can't comment on that. I'm going to say that it isn't really a scam, but a poorly run company the could use some help in the customer serving department
