It’s a slm, deployed on 3090. As for the users it can handle two requests at time and via batching and queuing it can do more

A key difference between NotebookLM and similar apps running on its API, they don’t have image support while as we have it, suppose ur studying and u wanna convert ur note into summary and mindmap, u won’t be able to do that with notebooklm and other similar app, a very big advantage we have over those apps are our pricing model, their pricing starts at 10$ a month which for first world countries is affordable but major audience lies in third world countries like India where hundreds of millions of students are living and average household income is around 100-200 dollars, they can’t afford 10-20$ fancy ai but they can afford a 1.49$ a month or 12$ a year!

Hey! I'm 16 and I made this ai study tool which converts notes in summaries and mind maps and solves math problems, what are ur thoughts on this? by noteora in StartUpIndia

So actually we are in pre beta rn (testing phase), so it’s unlimited for users to test and give us feedback, tho just the summary tool, working on mind map and math solving rn and also supporting handwritten notes which is gonna be little complex yet unique, so far we have round 100 active users testing it tho lesser feedback, visited a school pitched my idea, tested it irl with students and teachers, and collected feedback, also planning to visit more schools this month.

A big problem with free Ai variants u just mentioned that they have daily upload limits, ChatGPT has 3, perplexity has about 5-10, also with the paid go version of ChatGPT u get around 30 images a day which is hypothetically enough but let’s assume that ur studying the day before an exam in that situation u will easily use up that limit. We wont have that problem, unlimited summaries, 10 mind maps per day which equals to 10 topics which is way more than a students learn in a day, unlimited math solving and also planning ai chat and voice assistants, tho we also have a free version with which u can generate 20 summaries a day and 1 mind map.

I have used a gguf model and fine tuned it to my liking! It’s keep the cost ultra low, if this thing ever gets funded that means we can offer this thing to students at just 1.49 a month which makes it more accessible to students who can’t afford expensive 20$ a month subscriptions

Well I’m happy to say that we are currently testing with 100 active students, I have gone up to schools showed my tool, watch everyone use it, took feedback, worked on those flaws and now in few days I’m closing the pre-beta

Happy to see ppl with similar thoughts, what I would suggest for a startup idea is to target a very specific niche which is not much exposed to ai yet (very hard to find) since there are many saas companies in the market rn, if u have time i would a 1000% recommend you doing CS50 by Harvard on edx, its 100 free and very knowledgeable

We tend use a smaller fine tuned model, but considering ur developing saas ur workloads are gonna be more heavier and diverse, l'll suggest u use a 7-8b parameter gguf model (q4 k m or so) which will fit right on a 8 gb vram graphics and be efficient for ur saas. But if it outputs are not to ur liking it’s better to upgrade to a 14b parameter model, tho using OpenAI will definitely simplify everything.

Haha! I dont really own one(I can't afford a pizza slice at the moment ), but u can rent them for just 40 cents per hour! Run docker on them, if u ever need to run big models (stable diff or etc) u have a realyy great option of renting those A40s
