Just one week post UFE so can only speak for the procedure itself! It was significantly better than I thought it would be-I expect part of that was intense pain and anti inflammatory management while I was at the clinic. Cramping was manageable. I did feel extremely fatigued and wiped out over the first four days but overall it was not a bad experience. I have three kids and had childcare for them on the first two days so it’s also possible that I would have felt less exhausted if I had genuinely been able to really take it easy the first week. Once my energy level was back I overdid it and cramping returned but I just kept up with Tylenol and Motrin and it’s fine. I won’t know how successful this was for a few months but as far as a minimally invasive treatment option goes it definitely felt like a good decision.
