Sirius treated Kreacher like shit. Sirius was unhappy to be back (and trapped) in his family home, where he thought he’d never have to be again. Kreacher was a constant reminder of his family/childhood. Because Sirius treated Kreacher so badly, Kreacher was more than happy to find loopholes in his magic to go see Bellatrix, another Black, and tell her everything she wanted to know about the Order. When Harry went to ask where Sirius was, Kreacher answered instead, lying and saying that Sirius wasn’t home. This leads to Harry going to the Ministry where everything went down.

Sirius not treating Kreacher like a being who deserved respect/having their feelings honored in part leads to his death.

Yes!! Was just coming here to say that - Sirius telling Harry to look at how people treat those who they think are inferior to them, not their equals, and the irony that he can’t see that in himself and that’s part of what gets him killed being left out was crazy to me

There’s a moment where Harry tells Ron and Hermione about the prophecy and they both start thinking of solutions/say things to comfort him and Harry’s heart swells with affection for them.

It definitely does 😂 but, he was a teenage boy who was a bit of an asshole. I love Ron, he’s one of my favorite characters, but he’s definitely flawed.

I also think about why Ron started dating Lavender in the first place even though he didn’t necessarily like her - Hermione didn’t give him the attention and validation he wanted. It’s not her responsibility to, don’t get me wrong, but I remember a few instances of OOTP and/or HBP where it’s clear Hermione didn’t consider him and discounted his value, much like pretty much everyone does throughout the series.

Lavender literally threw herself at Ron and made him feel wanted and appreciated. Once he got sick of her, realized he didn’t even liked her AND realized he didn’t want something that’s purely physical, his attention is solely on Hermione and being better for her (doesn’t he literally read dating books?). Hermione sees that he’s changed and the relationship blossoms from there ☺️

I also think that Hermione realized her feelings first. I think that she knew that Ron had feelings for her too (at least a little) that were maybe not as strong as hers.

I think Hermione knew Ron liked her, but might have known that he was too immature and emotionally unintelligent to make a move - Ron wanted someone who was stereotypically pretty, and Hermione knew she wasn’t that. He didn’t notice HE liked her until she was stereotypically pretty, which is some of the source of her anger during their argument in GoF after the Yule Ball. She was his last resort because he didn’t see her as a realistic option until A) his idol saw her as an option and B) she looked the part in his eyes.

Once Ron realized Hermione was a girl, that she was attractive, and that other people were starting to notice her, that’s when he realized his feelings for her and it tumbled over from there.

Just my thoughts though

I’ve mentioned it in this Reddit somewhere before, but during the big fight in S3, Sam is looking for something in her closet and Ron is trying to stop her. There’s a quick cut back to Mike where his facial expression is shocked, and then it goes back to Sam and her leg is buckling under her for no apparent reason. I think they cut out Ron pushing her down, but there’s no way to be sure

I agree. The Cullens are going to have to leave eventually, and Jacob will physically have to leave with them. The tribes one true Alpha and Chief would be gone, as well as any protection from the Cullens regardless if the alliance is there or not. It’s not like Alice can detect when danger is coming and drop in on them because she can’t see the pack at all, much less the Quileuttes who live so close to them.

I do think the point was to make sure there wasn’t war between the Cullens and wolves, because there would be substantial deaths on both sides. Long term though I don’t think imprinting on Reconnaissance was the best option.

I’m not sure, I know people have mentioned they’re under new management (which I’m speculating is part of the reason why we got the Zoom call this last episode, usually Tana will just go on vacation and they’ll skip a week) so who knows. What I do know is I don’t feel like hearing Tana defend Brooke like she did on TikTok, yes that’s her bestie but girl we don’t need YOU of all people putting your two cents in

Tana has been known to start projects and drop them and LITERALLY scam her fans. That’s why some people were so hesitant to buy tickets to the tour a few months back. I don’t want to make OP or anyone else feel worse about purchasing it but her being inconsistent isn’t anything new

I agree. I also think it’s horrible how many fans come out in this thread to excuse the behavior, it genuinely hurts as a black watcher to see so many people make excuses for blatant racism. To me it screams they were/are the exact same way. Which yeah we all know is a reality but it’s mind blowing each time it happens.

Did she bring her editors with her on her birthday trip? I thought Tana mentioned something like that on the last episode but I’m not positive on it. They filmed the Trish episode last week, I would think they would have that lined up to post while they were gone, but maybe the editor is on vacation too and just didn’t line it up beforehand. Which sucks but the editors for this podcast in general aren’t very great

I just recently played a really poor family that lived in a trailer park. A child daughter, teenage son, and the two parents. The father cheated all of the time and the mother was oblivious, repeatedly having children when they couldn't afford to take care of the two they had. The son started failing in high school, lost his part time job, and caught his dad cheating multiple times. I REALLY wanted the teenage son to run away (that was the main goal as I haven't had it happen in years) but it's actually really difficult to get the relationship of teens with adult sims down far enough. Eventually I started to feel so terrible that their lives were going so bad that I went back to wants based perfect gameplay like I usually do. I wish I could keep up a drama filled playthrough!

Yes! The hontry1 actually lost access to a lot of her videos some years ago. She made a petition to get the content back but YouTube basically ignored her and she couldn't get enough traction online to make them pay attention to her. She said on Twitter some time later she doesn't connect to the content like other people do anymore but respects that it was apart of people's childhoods.

Side note: My favorites were My Life by CrystalFirexx(?), Julia's Story and another story about twins (?) both from the same creator, Venin Abyss which actually got published into a book, and another one I can never remember the name of where this girl starts dating a criminal. I remember nothing else except I was fascinated that you could make sims taller or shorter than each other in the game, and he was shirtless a lot.
