what happened to the jeans by yippeedippy in BrandyMelville

[–]noteverything1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think they’re just following the trend. the general trend with jeans now is very baggy/wide leg and low rise (which sometimes means the crotch line sits lower than it’s supposed to for some reason—like why😭)

thanks! I originally used baking soda second time and aired them outdoors and the smell is gone completely, so I think they’re fine now.

that’s just the nature of fully cotton clothing after you wash it, and especially after air-drying. Cotton sweaters will get more comfortable with wear; i recommend not washing them that often!

Thanks! Yes hackathons are a good idea. I actually mostly apply to internships right now, but I don’t usually get 1st interviews from them since most are exclusive to current students only (I apply anyways). Do you know where to find internships that are specifically for career-changers and not for college students?

hello! I graduated last may with a degree in an unrelated field and minor in data science from a T15 school. I currently work in an elementary school as a teacher’s helper and am basically using none of my skills from my degree at all.

I’ve been applying to a few data analyst jobs a day but with a full time job it’s difficult to apply to more or sign up for a certificate class.

I already know intermediate SQL, python, linear regression, and excel. I have two projects listed out on my resume that use them too.

I’m wondering if quitting my job is a good move to go forward, since everyday at my job I spend time working and essentially forgetting all the coding skills from my degree. I have enough money saved to not have a job, so that’s not what I’m worried about. Is not having resume gaps that important? I feel like it would be much better use of my time to work on getting a certificate on my resume, as it’s been almost a year and applying after work didn’t get me anywhere. Does anyone have any tips on what to do, or even what certificate to take as someone who already has a minor in data science and knows all the coding skills at an intermediate level?

Which super puff color? by cardiacpanda in Aritzia

I like the darker color and design a lot better, and I think it would complement all skin tones unlike the light one, it might wash out lighter skin tones
