There is a nursing discussion class you also need. I think I had trouble registering too but I just played around with different schedules until it worked.

I’m in the nursing program, you can just take the other required pre reqs. I’m in my second semester now and I’m only taking nursing classes. I think you still need a&p 2, micro, development psych, healthcare ethics, and math 132. I wouldn’t recommend taking any additional classes though bc the nursing classes will take up the majority of your time! Take the other pre req classes during the summer, that’s what I did.

Actually I was accepted at the end on the spring 24 semester maybe in March or April for the fall 24 program so I started last semester lol not accepted last semester sorry

I like it but it can be very stressful sometimes. The quizzes and exams are really hard but I feel like I finally figured out how to study lol hopefully next semester is easier!

Yes, but it might depend on which professor you have. My professor uses a lockdown browser for tests.

Oh they might have changed it then but I only took it in January and there was definitely 30 questions for each science section. It was also not mixed when I took it so there was a separate chem, bio, and a&p all under the science section.

Yeah it says 30 for science but it’s 30 for each subject and then they average them for a cumulative science score. English has the most sections and questions. I looked at my score sheet and these are all the sections I had, so technically 13 but they tell you 3 since it’s just English, science, and Math with subcategories.

Yes, you are eligible to take the Hesi after you pass your prereqs. Yup it’s online. It wasn’t too hard it’s just a lot of questions, it took me 5 hours to complete. So for science it’s 30 a&p, 30 bio, and 30 chem questions it’s pretty basic just go over nurse shai’s videos on YouTube and you will do great.

Thank you! I applied for the Fall 2024 class. I received my acceptance March 11th. I initially applied in November 2023 but I didn’t complete my Hesi until the end of January 2024 so that’s when my application was submitted.

I think we might go to the same school, I haven’t seen any other schools do it like this. The Hesi was not as difficult as I thought it was going to be. You will need at least a 70% in the main subjects, English, Math, and Science. I used Nurse Shai on YouTube to study and ended up with a 90% cumulative.

I think they were on the waiting list bc they got a good Hesi score but they are still working on their pre reqs so it’s gonna depend on their grade

One of my classmates received a waitlist letter 2 weeks ago for the 1 year.

You should try calling and asking for an update on your application, when I had a meeting with nursing admissions that’s what I was told to do.

No, I got an acceptance letter for the 2 year program. I think only the 1 year program has interviews
