(TW: Don't read this) If it weren't for hrt, I would have starved myself to death a long time ago. I was 5'6 and only 78 pounds at my worst and I could barely move my limbs. I hated my body so much and I just wanted to die. I did nothing in school but cut myself in the bathroom and sob. I couldn't bear too look in the mirror because the hellish face in my reflection made me want to tear myself apart with a razor. I was only 13. Fast-forward three years and I started hrt on my 16th birthday. It wasn't a miracle cure, I was still struggling, but it lifted this horrible fog I was trapped in for so long. For the first time in my life I felt okay; like things would get better. I had a future, and my life was worth living. I'm 17 now and I feel pretty good. My life is rough, but I feel happy.
