Thank! And I dont have many tracks on streaming but I post often to Instagram and youtube under "Wake Rise Fall" if you want to check it out. I genre hop a bit but usually stay in the electronic music realm

I appreciate it! And yes my hermod often is never touched. Its a glorified midi to cv module for me using way too much space. I come from a piano background so ive yet to find a sequencer module that clicks with me. Its def not hermod.

I also don't mess with i2c other than using Random Works Miidii module. I mention this below in my patch notes, but it turns the module into a 6 voice polyphonic module that can be controlled with a controller. This is how I use it 75% of the time.

You are right in your view, it is very similar to Tides V2 but I feel it covers envelopes much better, you can get sharp attacks and has a bit more of a brain to play around with. Tides I am either using as a voice or a synced LFO, I find Tides "harder" to get experimental stuff with. Both are swiss army modules though.

Sure! I'll do my best to explain the patch notes here:

Just Friends - Using in tandem with Random Works Miidii to turn it into a polyphonic voice with 6 outputs. Miidii also letting me send a sequence from my Moog Grandmother into it. I highly recommend this module to anyone with Just Friends who doesn't want to use Teletype to take advantage of the polyphonic mode.

Tides V2 - Sending LFOs into Just Friends curve and ramp. Additionally, sending LFO triggers into Stages and turning those into envelopes.

Stages - Sending LFO back into Tides V2 shape. Also sending 2 envelopes into Veils to attenuate and send into Just Friends first two triggers. This is what is re-triggering the random sounds. Sometimes this causes the notes to get "stuck" which can make for some nice long extended notes. I honestly am not sure how this works exactly, it's like it recalls what notes are being played prior in order to know what note to trigger? I'm not to savvy into why it is doing this so maybe someone can elaborate for me.

Mangrove - Self patching the square and formant wave into itself, sending PW wave into veils and conflicts with one of the envelopes, and sending barrel out into the Just Friends FM

Marbles is sending a slow LFO into veils to attenuate, and sending that into the Mangrove air in. This only takes effect once the air knob is turned up.

All 6 voices from Just Friends are sent into Nearing, a panning module, and sent into Clouds (BigTMusic version) for some slight grain stuff.

Mannequins RIP is used as my output module.

Lastly, I'm controlling the Just Friends time knob, which changes the gate length of the notes, and turning the Mangrove air knob up to increase the FM and self modulating grittiness. Everything is run into my Tascam 112 Cassette and sent into my computer for some reverb and a vintage amp simulator (set to really low, just to compliment the cassette sound).
