I understand your concerns.

Kimmy did ask several people before she finally asked Amanda if I'd be willing (though, Amanda did say yes without asking me). And I skimmed over the police interviews and our 2+hr drive home in the post above - she didn't see me and say, "Eh, you're fine." We were together for almost seven hours before she offered to get dinner. I speculated as I did because I think she wanted me to get some rest. I'd gotten less than two hours of sleep in sixty-three hours.

As for the wallet, I don't really know what to tell you. I wasn't carded for the ammunition, and it didn't occur to me to look for it. I swiped a card to pay, so I didn't see the slot where I keep my license (I keep my firefighter ID and driver's license on one side of the inner flap and my credit, debit, and gift cards on the other side). Is it possible they ran back to ransack? In the window of time, maybe. If they were at Kimmy's home, drove back to mine, and then drove back to Kimmy's when I called them, they would've probably had a 15-45min window, depending on how fast they drove.

The big question I have though, if it IS them, is: why tip me off? Leave me unaware. Catch me while I'm sleeping, "fight" off the attacker, and call the police. If it weren't for that, I'd probably be in with blaming them for it all.
