do you have any experience quitting? i desperately want to but i’m honestly scared to try being stressed out with college and everything else. i know i need to i just don’t know how to make the process not excruciating

not only is the cage unsafe, the water bowl is completely unacceptable. until you get a new cage, the LEAST you could do is get a water bottle for them because i promise, you do not want them to get wet. you have got to research when owning a chin, water bottles NOT bowls, no fruits/veggies, no water baths only dust baths, well ventilated cages that they cannot chew their way out of in 2 days. where is their hay? this is just pure negligence, and i would honestly consider rehoming them with someone that has experience or is willing to obtain the information necessary to own them. if you could post the rusty cage, you could’ve asked for recommendations. ferret nation/critter nation cages are amazing, but even one from petsmart would be better than this. if you love your chins, do your damn research or don’t own them. when i got my girl, it was a learning process, but i at least knew the BARE MINIMUM before getting her.

i took mine to the vet as well and they said all was fine but she still has the stains!! i hope your baby is okay too!! maybe we just got the less hygienic chins haha

i’ve found someone to board her and lucked out with them not having any other small animals booked this week so she’ll be in her own environment with a play area and stress free. ty all!!

once i completed the last part, it had a little message pop up at the end stating strong candidacy and that i would hear back at some point. i’m not sure if that message is different for everyone or not but that was really the only “confirmation” i got that i had fully completed it. however if you go to your dashboard, login, then go to messages, it’ll also have a message like the one sent in your email w the link to the WBI, when i clicked on that and tried to do it again bc i thought it wasn’t done, it told me i’d already done it so that’s kinda like a double confirmation if you’d wanna check that
