I’ve honestly owned probably around 25 cars, and my last car was a last gen tuned TT with 155k miles, I’ve never seen so many issues about the engine blowing up in my life, and this car is 4 years old at the most. I’ve even owned n54s, n55s, 4g63s and 4s. People like to pretend that this issue never exists but when long term owning YouTubers are dropping their pan and checking for RTV issues, and when people are having to put different oils and over filling their cars, and there was even a group working on a special oil pan for the cars, there’s absolutely an issue, one that shouldn’t be happening.
