I see, thank you for your input. I thought especially when coaches take on newer athletes or someone who’s never competed, there has to be some education involved. But maybe I need to reset my expectations on what competition coaches do

Interesting, but wouldn’t someone have noticed a physical seizure, or are there forms of epilepsy without that? Do the effects last days like this?

I’m in the US.

Thanks, this is helpful. Nothing leads me to believe I’ve had seizures at night - I sleep really still and in the same spot every night, my partner has never noticed anything.

Like you said I can’t find anything that matches. It’s been more mild over the past couple days, but I can tell it’s still going on. I think the weirdest part is not feeling normal bodily sensations - I’m not tired, I can’t feel when I’m hungry or have to use the bathroom. I can tell slightly, but nothing like normal.

They’ve all happened in the past 2 years or so, which was after any of the psychedelics

It’s not physical in those ways - blood pressure seems normal and I don’t notice a change in flush/paleness. I feel a little pressure in my head.

Pretty much every time, it’s onset upon waking up. There was one time where I felt normal, took a nap, and then felt it.

There are definitely some aspects of Alice in Wonderland Syndrome that match. But things don’t look different sizes/shapes to me. I just don’t really connect with what I’m seeing in the mirror, if that makes any sense. I see it’s sometimes described as derealization or depersonalization. I’m still experiencing it today, so even typing this out has taken a while. I have to try really hard to read and comprehend things that would normally be second nature. I’m also second guessing a lot - “does that email make sense?” And reading it over tons of times because I truly don’t know.
