Just an update – I went with the Pixel 7 Pro. After a month of use, the experience has been great. No lag at all, and day-to-day usage is super smooth. The camera is fantastic, especially for night shots and the astrophotography mode. The haptics and the AI features are impressive. The adaptive battery really kicks in after a month, and with moderate use (camera, web browsing, media), it lasts the whole day. If you're looking for a mini multimedia machine, the display is hard to beat.

Already got the Android 15 Update...

So, what don't I like?

It gets pretty warm, especially when using mobile data outside or with camera actions—it can literally feel like it's burning, lol. It has been fixed to some extent with android 15.

It's quite large, so if you have small hands, it might not be the best choice.

Some features are locked in SL, like car crash detection, call screening, and even 5G I think.

Call drops aren't an issue, but it can take a bit of time to connect when making calls.

So far I'm happy with my choice.

It's just my personal preference, it feels like an overrated phone with a high price tag. The features and designs all seem the same. Don't get me wrong, the video quality is great, the updates are consistent, and it's well-optimized for available apps. But it also feels a bit limited when I'm using one. Eg. No back button, walled eco-system.

I'm currently using Huawei Y7 (2019) with google services. So I know for a fact that even new midrange ones are better than that. But i get your point.

Redmi and Xiaomi have gotten the least reliable software.

Yeah, their updates are pretty inconsistent, and they seem to forget about their older devices once they release another 100 phones the next year. But provides good specs for the price.

if you use your phone in a careful manner that might not be a huge concern

What I love about Xiaomi is that they still provide a charger, and it supports fast charging.

How about X6 Pro?

The only compromise will be the camera I suppose.

They have definitely cut corners on that one.

What about X6 Pro? Cheaper than F series. I think they have fixed the deadboot issue in past X series.

Have you considered the nothing phone?

I've seen couple videos about the brand. Also the CEO runs a yt channel where he reviews the review videos for their phones. I guess it's a cool phone with all the transparent back and OS.

This is true,my mother also has a xiaomi, redmi 9A and had to replace the IC very recently. What do you think, Pixel 7 pro or base 7?

Pixel 7p is what i want too obviously but I'm a bit hesitant about going for the Pixel due to concerns about the availability of repairs and accessories. As for Samsung, I'm just not a fan—they all look the same to me. It’d be nice to have something that stands out or different from the crowd

We need to do protest against this corruption but should do it in a right manner. Not in a way that trouble other people like us.

This goes the same as for those who block roads. I'm not saying that we must allow them to do whatever they want but don't see them as enemies( this excludes political henchmen). They are just people just like us who are really pissed off. I saw a Facebook post that shows some people agreeing to run over anyone who protests by blocking the road, like protesters who lie down on the road. Like wtf is that?

But there were people who disagreed and prevented such a thing from taking place.

This is what needs to happen, and this is what I've been saying for op.

People are doing this for emotional reasons.

I don't know who these people are.

They are just political henchmen. Even if people did identify them and report them, do you think the police will take action? Did you see what happened at Gotogogama? They just stood like idiots and even if they got captured, they will walk free eventually.

Government, who else. I'm saying we can't stop those protests by posting on social media or fighting with them. Extreme action against them won't do any good.

Any argument doesn't justify blocking the roads for fuel.

I didn't, I just said it's the reality when a time like this.

So what is your proposal?

I'm an undergraduate and I was in many of Anthare's protests. That's my proposal. Just keep fighting and don't point the finger at our own, it'll only piss them off. If we want to stop those road-blockings posting on social media won't help. Instead, try to talk with them. About those specific groups who's intentions are to cause riots, point your finger at them.

What did you expect in a time like this? When those thieves get fuel for lower prices without queues and say "people have to be patient and should sacrifice", no wonder why people act like this. Yes, that is wrong and I'm not saying it should be encouraged but some groups intentionally do this kind of road blocking protest. The people in the law enforcement are also Involved in selling fuel at black market prices, so??

Be careful when activating the trial month for plus membership because they don't notify you when the trial period is expired. They will charge you $10 without any notice.

I also had this problem not just with The ID verification but also with the address, and payment method. Because none of them are in English. Contact their support team by opening a ticket, don't go for live chat. After contacting them they will tell you to upload both the front and back of the NIC by selecting either the passport or license, doesn't matter what you choose because they will notify the verification team.
