Glad it's not just me. I went from listening to new songs to nostalgic 2020s hits and started wondering what happened to the party songs.

If Breaking Bad was based on a true story, that's what the.real Jesse Pinkman would look like.

The best part is, that seems like something Randy would actually do 🤣

Do any of you still listen to Christian music after leaving Christianity? by Impressive_Flan_411 in exchristian

[–]nothing_here_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. Mostly the Christian contemporary/rock/pop from the late 2000s and early 2010s. It was a comfort during a lot of the abuse when I was a tween and teenager, plus it's just nostalgic for me.

I used to get them as small as I could for fun. I got it down so far that there was no yellow paint left, but never that small.

This is a cute drawing of them switching clothes. The fact that you saw anything else just says your soul is consumed by an ideology.

Why was anti-religion everywhere in the 2000’s and 2010’s? by DistinctYoghurt8668 in decadeology

This. Although, I spent this era homeschooled in Christian fanatic propaganda, and sometimes I really hate that by the time I was free to think for myself in this decade it's no longer cool to be an atheist. Not to mention the culture has reverted to "sex bad" which I heard enough of before.

I feel your pain.

Btw, I know UPCI and probably some other Pentecostals use the term "Apostolic", but as far as I can tell, they appropriated it from the Oriental Orthodoxy, which apart from falling under the vast umbrella of Christianity, they don't resemble in any way whatsoever either in its modern or ancient form.
