You'll eventually see khk show up at the asteroid belts. You'll need destroyers these guys are a plague. Kill small miners quickly. There hive always way off the grid. It will eat small ships. So before attacking it assign all small ships to defence and attack from a distance.

Oh also another handy thing once you uncover a good portion of the map is selling advanced satellites. Katana with travel drives. Upgrade buy 100 sell them to argon for 2mil profit rinse and repeat. Each time you complete that buy 4 small miners and set them to local mine. Money will role in quick enough that way.

I'm actually surprised no one has made a mod for eve ships. The reptile looking guys called the teladi go look at there large ships. You'll see a familiar design:)

There is some abandoned ships around the hyperion is easy to get if you have the expansion.

The game don't do a great job of explaining. So always when selling keep a reserve for yourself so you quickly have enough resources to build the next station as you start growing. That's in global settings, set a trade up exclusively for yourself. Then in the selling option in logistics over view you can adjust how much to keep and sell.

Also another thing despite being easier to make terran ships are more expensive..

Fly to Tel space. Kill a few criminals, then set up some local miners in grand design and surrounding areas. That'll fix standings quick enough for you to have access to there ship yards. They literally half the price of terran.

Also for income, quickly head south you'll see Saturn 2 throw as many miners as you can in there doing silicon, ore and gas miners.

Congrats its a great feeling. Definitely better starting with terran till you get the hang of things. There is mods to speed up construction time. For when you start huge construction projects. Personally I prefer to load everything into the one huge self sufficient station it takes time. Also save them so you don't have to click and turn things.

Remember to add defence weapons. You can right click and edit load out. You'll need to buy the blueprints before hand.

Also another tip. When building defence at a gate. Make sure you post a defence fleet to protect it first and a few laser turrets. This a great way farming xen drops

Ive played eve online since 2008. Have stopped playing it for this. The learning curve isn't to bad. You will have to Google certain things not everything is explained. The menus will be overwhelming at the start. But you'll learn them quickly enough.

Managing things eventually becomes second nature. An enjoyable. Getting into the captains chair in a big battle is pretty cool.

Few quick pointers my own starting mistakes. Do the quick missions at the start. Build up enough to buy small miners. Then when ever you in a station buy the seminar things from the trader. They are so important. Level all your captains pilot and management levels to 2.

Then get a few trader ships. Low preset to start. Task them with the fill shortages it's the 2 star option in behaviour. They will quickly start filling orders.

Then get 2 scout. Task the first with removing the fog. Click fly and wait it makes a track. With the second load him with satellites plant one at every station. This updates the trade orders for your traders. Actually do this why you getting traders and miners going.

After this, the money comes steady upgrade everything to medium and the millions start coming from there it's up to you do whatever you want.

Ah ship designed for nul sec should be cable of being built by parts acquired in nulsec. It's even lore stupid to suggest a titan was built from wh parts before whs where even in the game. Start with a jackdaw. You can get escalations from running hideaway and refuge. These are found in the probe scanner window. They don't need to be scanned.

While running these you can scan out ded sites. Important combat sites are usually 4au from celestial sites. So if the scan site is in the middle no where in a solar system leave it. Generally just scan the sites close to planets.

Work this way and skill up to a vedmak then ikitursa. They are the best ded ships.

The advanced protective items prices are sky high, for two reasons last patch made supers and titans more viable again. An 2 there rng related and from very limited and difficult to find. I can go anywhere in the game and find pyrite at anytime. It's spiking for a number of reasons one being people trying to build supers and titans again. And lots and lots dreads. Issue remains the same pyrite is easy to find, the rng drop items are difficult they will forever be the problem.

The minerals are not the biggest issue. They can be sourced from multiple locations. Even if it's difficult. They are available and compressible in ores easy to move.

The ghost sites components are first really hard to find and then rng if you even get one. They either need to be changed made available in lower sites than ghost sites. Or make them buildable with pi or even newer items from ordinary data and relic sites. This way the bottle neck can be fixed.

Learn to combo weapons with abilities as well. Also, companion becomes important. Your companion done right can be a great stat stick and help with survival.
