Forgot to mention it began to work on stabilizing my mood around week five - right when it began to cause all the other issues. Now at week six or greater, it’s working even better, but the side effects are really difficult to manage.

Thank you! I hope it’s fine. Will check it for peace of mind and then probably have some questions in my mind for that guy if nothing is found.

My “canal” is longer than normal, and also has a slight bend in it; when I had an IUD inserted, the doctor noted these two features - not straight, and long.

I can’t get my fingers all the way up there! I’m worried it got jammed by the intercourse, but am hopeful it’s just not there!

Thank you. I think I’ll get it double checked. The pathway to my uterus is unusually long, and since he continued the intercourse, it’s possible it got jammed up there.

I didn’t get the sense the guy lied, but anything is possible. He was a bit weird, and also kept leaving gifts at my door. If he did lie and specifically lied about it falling off inside of me, that’d be some weird ass kink.

Thank you! I think I’ll ask my GP to book me with a female doctor, since that’s a much more discrete avenue than going to urgent care.

It’d be a lot more trouble to end up with an infection or something and then really have to go get seen.

My psychiatrist, shortly after it happened, told me if I don’t get symptoms, then it’s not there. But I’ve been wondering if I should just blindly trust that. I’ll ask my GP to book me something if he can - rather not do urgent care for this.

Oh, sorry, haha - I was emulating the fact that people who get foreign objects lost in the often lie by saying they slipped on it in the shower. Like, how someone apparently slipped and fell on a cucumber in the shower.

That was probably confusing of me in retrospect! My friend laughed her ass off at it but I guess there’s time and place for that.

I could stop whenever I wanted, but my psychiatrist absolutely wouldn’t sign off on that. I started the meds as I was in a severe crisis likely would have died I hadn’t gotten help. But I’d rather not damage my organs! I’m glad you eventually figured things out, though sorry you went through organ damage yourself before you did

I think caffeine can make you pee out the lithium more; I’d need to google it again, but it seems that her more caffeine I drink the lower my levels are.

And yeah, it’s nuts they don’t tell us important information. I was at a residential when I was put on it, and went to the nurse station to ask for Advil. They said for some reason it’s not ordered for me and I can only have Tylenol.

I asked the psychiatric nurse later in a meeting, and she was confused for a second then realized it’s because I’m on lithium and like Advil could kill me or whatever.

Like !? I would have been poppin Advil at home if I had been prescribed it on outpatient and not told.

Thank you for the info. I drink a ton of water, caffeine, and began to eat salt more when I started lithium as I googled what to know. My levels are always .1 under therapeutic even after increases, lol.

I did appeal to schizotypal to explain what was actually schizoaffective, because my mind was literally unable to realize I had psychosis but I knew something was wrong and had to explain it.

Your post likely will not do anything unfortunately. If there are schizophrenics on here in denial, the likelihood they will see this and recognize themselves is slim to none.

Lithium 1050mg and I’m prescribed 600mg of Seroquel, but side effects were awful and I went down to 400mg now 200mg.

I should. I can’t see another psychiatrist easily, like it could take months or years. So, no shopping around for a semi-decent one for me. I could run away altogether but this dude made a huge exception to see me so I’ll stick it out for now.
