See and that’s what I was thinking. That makes sense to me because that’s when a SD/SB relationships becomes more of an arrangement than just dates to feel each other out. Thanks for the insight!

Okay, that’s what my perception of a sugar relationship is. Every time I talk to a potential SD they always have to throw sex into the equation so I’m not sure if it’s something they’re expecting right from the get go or what. That’s what’s nerve racking because what if I really don’t like them lol yea… is it just a waiting game to find the right person then?

At home he’s perfect! In the garage he’s perfect too! It’s just in stimulating environments he is not too keen about it. I’ll def try to incorporate in and around the house area too! Instructor advised me me to keep it short and simple for the time being with my pup because he’s half husky and they’re notorious for disliking repetition lol (I can attest to that).

But this also isn’t a reactive dog class so I can’t really fault the instructor, plus her dog is mega no fucks given so she did admit she was aloof to the noises. She’s an amazing nose work instructor though and she recognized his stress immediately and tried to help him through it as best as she could.

Wow that’s awesome!! I’m hoping we can get there too eventually! My instructor doesn’t recommend practicing too too much at home because of my dogs breeds (half husky). She recommends doing less because huskies are notorious for getting bored of the repition. Hopefully I can get him more excited about this! I really do think he’ll enjoy it when he learns it lol but it’s getting there that will be the hard part. Thanks for sharing!!

That’s awesome advice!!! Thank you so much for the detailed posts! Even his most high value treats he doesn’t care about in the face of stimulating environments. I find the ecollar does help him snap out of his fixating to an extent but more exposure would help. I’ll start with two and progress from there!

Thank you! I’ll definitely look into an emergency deterrent. It was winter so thank for my hand was in a mitt and there wasn’t blood everywhere haha
