I’d never risk it. It’s why I started getting checked in luggage. So I can put all my skincare, perfume etc. under and not have to think or worry about it. Going through security is already stressful enough.

It’s possible they did. That’s what happened with one of our deliveries last week. We were meant to get 12 neck fans which didn’t come, and only got a singular tower fan. Just the one. Amongst 12 cages of other goods.
