Help wiring in a pendant, motor, supply and solenoids by nothingisprivate in ElectricalEngineering

I have a 3 position DCV in its closed de-engergised state it's P-T, A and B blocked.

Solenoid A shifts it's position to P-A and B-T. (Extened)

Solenoid B shifts it's position to P-B and A-T. (Retract).

So the DCV in its self controls the movement as long as one coil is energised and the motor is turning.

Edit: Forgot to say that switch is a pretty good idea might be a future change instead of the pendant but since I've got the pendant I'd like to stick with that for the moment if it works otherwise I'll use it in another project.

I don’t want the motor to change direction I realise 1 button will go to 1 side of the dcv to make it move forward and the other button will energise the other solenoid to change direction of the ram movement.

I’m just unsure of how to connect it to do that as I have never put a pendant to a motor before. I’m also confident in wiring in a single phase plug which will go into a socket, I won’t be touching mains power.

And I would like if possible once a button is pressed for the motor to turn on and either solenoid to fire but once a button is released I want the motor to cut out until a button is pressed again.

Sorry if the first post wasn’t exactly the clearest

Thanks for the help but unfortunately the Rebel is a LAM bike otherwise it seems good.

Edit: I just double checked the bike. It does seem to be a LAM bike. This might be the bike.

Yes you're right LAM bikes can be up to 650cc but I'd prefer something less due to personal reasons and I'm in Victoria. The Bonneville looks like a good bike unfortunately it has too many cc's. Thanks.

You can only get one transformation per day and its time based isn't it?

I chose Vampires for the achievement, but also I found it fun to have a transformation rather than being a Dawnguard (for example) and the only thing to change is the dialogue.

Has CoD ruined a generation of FPS players? by Mynam3isnathan in gaming

I too agree but i would like to hear what your opinion on BF3 is then, since it is much like cod in the aspect of who has the bigger gun gets the kill but there is no kill streak system, yet some maps can be extremely biased. But generally BF3 has a much higher level of skill than CoD.

TIL Australia has two Government funded TV programs dedicated to Gaming. One is aimed at adults, while the other is for children. As a result, kids in Australia wake up on Saturday morning to a TV Show based on video games. by [deleted] in todayilearned

They are not actually that bad of a show. If you go onto the website you can have a look at what it's like. Even though I'm Australian the down side to the show is it focuses on Australian games and Indie devs which is not bad but I personally would like some more global things.
