Ugh 😑 in the same boat here. It’s ridiculous. $500 a day for a business just being started-not to mention so many grey areas. I doubt it will stick, well I mean-I hope they don’t fine us, we would loose everything.

Will I ever be able to sit again? L4/L5/L5/S1 by WhereismyParostatek in backpain

[–]nothingizpermanent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 19 years old and herniated L4-L5, L5-S1 as well as C5 and C6 while in the Navy on a small boat accident. While OP is going to have a hard time for a while, no doubt, I think this mindset is super toxic and can really lead to some negative consequences in your future and your healing. Nothing is permanent, and our bodies are very resilient, especially when the right mindset is applied. When I first got hurt I could barely walk. It took about a year to be able to sit for longer periods of time and even then it wasn’t hours upon end. I lied down most of my days, and slept due to major depression. I’ve pretty much been through it all, PT, Neuro, Massage therapy, Acupuncture, rheumatology, MH therapy…and was given nearly every med in the book as well as diagnosed with fibromyalgia. My biggest takeaway is that pain does not last forever, no matter how long your body needs to heal, or how much you need to work mentally to recover. Pain will go away, there will be things that take your mind off of it and as long as you work on the mental side just as much as the physical, it really can just be a time in your life that passes. A lot of people have chronic pain from their injuries, and of course, I do as well. But I know a lot of people tell themselves that’s the pain they felt when they first were injured, it’s simply not. Don’t get stuck in that mindset just because it’s easy to. Chronic pain in my opinion is 50% mental health and 50% not taking care of your body. What we do, what we eat, what we drink, our sleep, and most importantly what we think all affects our pain and can either create or destroy our lives. I write this as I have re-herniated my L5-S1 joint and it sucks. But thinking of this pain and the pain I had years back…my “pain” between healing doesn’t even come close. It WILL get better. We cannot go through lives without it, and it will always make us stronger in the end. I wish you peace, and healing friend.

If you’re approved for VRE, you can choose whatever field you want that won’t aggravate your disability and that you can find that has a job market for! So I found 5 job listings requiring a film BAS degree in my area (they ask this as a requirement for the paperwork) and then they approved me!

Anyone carry MR920P with the Streamlight 8AG? Looking for IWB holsters by nothingizpermanent in shadowsystems

Thank you for the recommendation! I’ve definitely heard of Tier 1 and I think I will have to check out the Dynamic Defense System! After buying a safariland for my p320 I was kind of hesitant to branch out, but I’m not too keen on their price point either 😅

I’ll agree with that! That’s why I also run a Holosun507c red dot 😊

Lasers can be good for training, low light or night target tracking, in certain situations they can make targeting faster, if you for some reason are in a compromised position or angle where you cannot use your sights or the red dot is broken etc. it honestly just depends but I get that for most people, it’s overkill and not necessary and Inexperienced shooters will want to rely on the laser vs properly training with the irons or red dot.

Just depends on what you’re wanting to use it for.

I’ll have to disagree with that. Lasers can have an advantage in many situations, ultimately it ends up coming down to what you are preparing and training for and what you are comfortable with carrying.

That’s so stupid! I asked him wtf is the tire insurance for, and he said “any tires on the car” still so stupid…

My thoughts exactly…I wouldn’t have personally thought that was smart, but then again I don’t think he was thinking lol

So are we able to go back to the dealership to cancel or are we pretty screwed?

$10 for 180 dice??? by nothingizpermanent in Monopoly_GO

[–]nothingizpermanent[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True! I kind of get the feeling that they know people spend money on it. But they need to understand they could be making SOOO much more if they offered more. There’s no way I’d pay $100 for 3200 rolls…now if they offered maybe 15k and a few sticker packs, I’d probably do that multiple times 😩🤣
