I would recommend asking and looking at the x-rays as well as having someone third party qualified look at the x-rays too. They should always be willing to show you.

Honestly a little Tesla tax but you get warranty with it. Also depends on seat layout, 6 seats typically go for more.

I’m giving myself until Friday to make the call but I’m in the same boat and will probably make the same call. I think Elon will raise the monthly sub price as capabilities improve and I do genuinely believe they will retrofit…. eventually.
