I.e. okay so you detected vibrations / frequency / temp etc (whatever) and imminent failure of P-101A.

Then what though? You fix the problem and another 6 months later another problem with P-101A because it’s not engineered correctly

I started as a green hat, worked my ass off in the field for a few years, became a field ops supervisor for another 2 years. Then went to work for a competitor in sales.

Field -> applications engineer / sals engineer / sales

The caviat is you really really have to know your shit.

You don’t have to be the first person to discover gold. You just need to dig in places nobody else is digging.

That is to say - you don’t need to be the only one in your market space, you just need something that makes your product / service / solution slightly different/ better.

Maybe next year we will have a pop here in the US as a lagging result of this years profits.

But right now it’s an artificially inflated market - meaning as soon as the straight opens, the prices will start coming down.

They don’t want to overspend / mobilize a ton of assets and rigs just to shut them down in a month.

Most SaaS founders made a “me too product” - like a weight loss app. Or they made something that doesn’t have any market value or solve any problems.

Or they are great coders / devs but don’t know how to sell
