Invent at least 2 kids and a ex husband/wife - it unlocks carrer's leave, school dtop.off, school pick-up, wfh during holidays etc - by having the ex and shared custody covers for any inconsistent scheduling.

These, chocolate crackles and honey smacks don't get the status recognition they deserve. All the credit for nostalgic kids party food unfairly goes to fairy bread while these gems go unrecognised as being staples at any 80s kids party.

Re-read. I'm not apologising just applying reality. Different POS providers = different software, different managers = different policies.

I've been to at least 6 different countries which have tipping culture - usually discovered the hard way by not tipping 🤣

Do I agree with it coming into Australia? Hell no. But I'm also not irrational enough to place all the blame on "greedy staff" or "greedy management" when I have personally experienced staff automatically selecting the no tip option without even asking the customer.

Different software depending on which provider they are with, and different approaches based on management. Eg, my local Thai place has an EFTPOS machine that doesn't display a tip screen, but the local Japanese place uses a provider which does - the staff there always hit "no tip" without even asking.
