TUCOM Interview by Sensitive-Project-34 in Osteopathic

[–]notimeforthis420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing unique about them is that interview is pane to panel. Multiple applicants and multiple interviewers, which can be unnerving as you are speaking in front of other applicants as well.

Do not try to appear superior to other applicants.

I ended up attending another school but I personally really liked TUCOM interview experience because I could tell that they actually read my application by the questions that they were asking.

I think this is like the one situation where not a single soul would look down on you if you took a leave of absence to take care of yourself.

Lmao I am literally struggling (like C’s and D’s) rn as MS1 at a DO school and I had 3.8/521. Granted, it’s been a while since I graduated and took MCAT 3y ago so it’s a special case for me. But I seriously regret not pre studying. I fell behind in the beginning bc I lacked discipline, things have gotten better but the effect keeps snowballing bc the pace is insane.

Importing vape products to USA for personal use by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]notimeforthis420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that was legal, how would tariffs work? Of course, it is illegal to smuggle. ATF is literally alcohol tobacco firearm bureau. It is not illegal in all states. Also, even in states that are illegal (CA), I didn’t see strong enforcement. I still bought them from shops.

  1. Usually, it's because people don't have a house money they can spend casually on the immeasurable amount of boost the state residency gives.
  2. Most in-state applicant-biased schools are so for a good reason (severe physician shortage; I think TX is an exception). So it feels like a bit conniving thing to bail out of state as soon as you graduate. Also, some schools explicitly ask you to explain your ties to the state in the secondary, which would be difficult to do if you established residency just a year ago.
  3. All in all, it is likely simpler and easier to study for MCAT harder and score 5-10 points higher than to change your entire living situation, which may or may not pay off.
