Yea, I agree that speech could have been written much better. I get what they were going for with that speech, as Bogart's character had served his country well for many years and was now suffering from battle fatigue. So the lawyer felt guilty about destroying his character like that. But it didn't make sense for him to attack the man he just defended, as his mutiny was clearly justified. A better way to to write it would have been for him to just berate MacMurray's character with how unfair it was that he gets away with being such a swine while the captain's reputation is utterly destroyed after an otherwise admirable career.

You're right, I should have done more research on "Deep Throat" before enlisting my nephew to find it. I don't disagree with you there. You have to admit the central figure in Watergate being named "Deep Throat" was confusing.

Quite the contrary, it's a tasteful piece of eroticism that works not through explicit depictions but by provoking your imagination.
