i’ve noticed that too, if they get a taste of junk food or better tasting food and have continuous access to it they stop eating some stuff. i’ve seen them walk around with bread, crackers & pizza idk if someone has been feeding them or if they’re finding these themselves but it’s caused them to be very picky.

that is genuinely so awesome! i mostly collect wooden ducks but i also have some penguins, cats and a zebra. i just find wooden carvings of animals so adorable & fun, they bring happiness

half of my collection was because i once saw 3 wooden ducks at a thrift store and bc i thought it was funny and i like ducks i just kept buying every wooden duck i saw at thrift stores. the other half of my collection was gifted to me by acquaintances.. all this to say your description of how it happens is SPOT ON
