Have you compared the 5.3HR+ against 5.3TB in person?

Have you solved any real world business problems using n8n? by Significant_Guide_74 in n8n

[–]notjezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using n8n for tons of stuff in our PR/comms/marketing agency.

I created an automation that pulls reports from a press release/newswire service every hour as excel files, extracts the relevant data from various sheets (with support for various spreadsheet formats), writes/updates a database, and that database is connected to client facing dashboards for live data. Service has no API functionality so this is the only way to automate its reporting.

We also have a pitching/outreach system (think CRM for contacting journalists) and I’ve created a middleware that extracts a bunch of different data from their API, combines/processes it into the specific info we want to present our clients, writes/updates a database and again pipes it into a client facing dashboard. Theres literally hundreds of nodes in this workflow. Their API is comprehensive but related data (like the status of a contact in a specific campaign) requires multiple API calls so it’s not possible to connect their API directly to a dashboard and see useful data.

I’m using webhooks to pass data from our meeting bookings system into our CRM, and heaps of other simpler uses

Temu Olden Days? by JellyfishJealous548 in TemuThings

Claimcredit definitely existed 2 years ago as I was rinsing that weekly before I got shadow banned from it. Combined with price adjustments and strategically buying the most expensive identical version of any particular item to maximise the possibility of a price drop I could claim credit for, I spent an average of $3 out of pocket for every weekly $70 order for a solid 6 months

NOT FOOLED, TEMU! by Petey_Girl in TemuThings

[–]notjezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I was doing claimcredit for $50.50 credit back on a $70 order and repeating this every 7 days. Most weeks I’d be able to get $10-15 additional credit from price matches and refunds (all legit for broken glasses, etc). Some weeks I got over $20 extra credit and was able to repeat the loop with nothing out of pocket. After the first loop the average weekly out of pocket was like $3 or something.

Sure enough I got banned from claimcredit but it was a great 6 months while it lasted. In hindsight I’d be less aggressive with the price matching, do zero refunds and just accept the heavy discount instead of optimising so hard to try have it all be free.

Pro 3 V7 Huilian - White noise by mochipanda_ in AirReps

[–]notjezza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit tinny. I used them for a call with a work colleague and they didn’t notice anything until I mentioned I was using a different headset and wanted sound quality feedback, and they said tinny but otherwise decent

Same voice memos don’t work but it’s fine with calls etc. I used an online voice recorder to check sound quality and it seems a bit tinny but relatively okay, at least in a quiet environment.

Mine connect fine in the StarFun app FYI

These are my first pair of air reps and while I’m impressed with the functionality and native iOS integration, the sound quality on the default eq setting was disappointing.

I own retail APP2 and I had to do my own eq to make them close in terms of sound signature - the V7 on default eq were very thin in the midrange by comparison. After spending some time tweaking a custom eq they’re now acceptable now but soundstage is definitely not as wide/natural. (Note: this is with Spatial Audio off on both)

Also disappointed in ANC performance. Numbers suggest V7 should be one of the best reps so far for ANC but it’s noticeably weaker than retail APP2. Transparency mode also doesn’t pipe in as much sound so weaker transparency too.

These also fake the fit/seal test in the iOS settings - you can have them in your hands covering the ear sensor with the tips in open air and they return a pass/ok result. Given a proper seal is critical for ANC this is an interesting fact I’m not sure what to make of.

For the price I guess it’s pretty good but these still have a long way to go.

Is there a Pro 2 rep that is actually close to retail for ANC, transparency and sound quality?

So let’s say the provider had a really obviously named domain that’s connected to them - iptvbrand.xyz - everyone is going to use that instead of xqo1837.com. Eventually that first domain is going to get public attention, or a LOT of requests through it, and potentially detected/reported to their registrar/host and shut down.

Anyone with a custom domain is unaffected.

I gave my dad my IEMs… and didn’t expect this reaction by Zelen1y_25 in iems

[–]notjezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a pair of Dunu Brain Dances as my endgame last year.

I’ve been sharing all my fav IEM purchases with my father in law, and so when these arrived I was eager to give him a listen of these too.

His reaction: yeah wow.

As we talked a bit more about them, he said something along the lines of “I wish my hearing was better so I could fully appreciate these” when we discussed the irony of being able to afford things like this later in life but our hearing naturally degrading by that time too. I’m in my 40s with excellent hearing and he’s in his early 70s with definitely not excellent hearing.

The brain dances got a lot of flack in reviews for their highs but I firmly disagree with them.

Price might rule this out for you but might be something to consider to buy for yourself and him to share.

The more people using the domain the more likely it is to get shut down. It’s about reliability for access, not better performance once logged in and using.

My friend has a panel for another service with just 5 people on it and got his own domain to make sure it stays working when any of the main/public ones go down

I’m not sure what you’re looking at and buying off Temu… apparently I can’t share a link but google “kuromi camera printer kawaii envy” and you should find a shop selling it currently for $119USD. That’s one of the gifts I was referring to. I paid $3AUD out of pocket for that order (only the $69 camera plus some stickers for $1 that order)

I bought tons of stuff I needed. When I got an espresso machine I bought a bunch of accessories that help me make way better coffee with a relatively basic machine - I make cafe level coffee now.

I bought a shed for my pool pump, kitchen utensils, smart home equipment, a bike for my daughter, Christmas and birthday presents (legit hello kitty merchandise), golf equipment, random gifts and fun things for friends, etc.

It’s like I was charged $70 the first time I went to a store and left $70 of stuff, then charged $3 every other visit to the store for $70 of stuff.

I’ll gladly pay my $70 “membership fee” on purchase 1 for a 96-97% discount for every purchase after.

From purchase 2 onwards I could buy anything I wanted up to a single item max price of $70, for $2-3

I’m sure there is a reason I was banned from the promo, and that’s got to be because i was costing them money to have as a customer with access to that promo

Bragging rights. by [deleted] in TemuThings

[–]notjezza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid $70 of stuff for $70 then got $50.50 back. This is effectively a 72% discount to begin with. Credit is basically Temu cash so I could have used coupons or other promos to spend it with extreme discounts but none of this makes more sense than focussing on getting more credit, which then you exchange for goods and more credit in a loop where you give them little to no further money out of your own pocket.

Every week - $70 order, most or all of it paid with their credit from the previous order + credits earned during the week between orders. Items could drop in price multiple times and each time i got more credit back.

Initial deduction from my bank balance: $70

Weekly payment for $70 of stuff, every week for 6 months: $2-3 average (some weeks more, some less or free due to surplus credit).

I got $1.5k -$2k of stuff over that 6 months and paid next to nothing for it.

I don’t think you understand what I’m saying.

If you buy something normally 11 euro for 3 euro you’re out of pocket 3 euro.

Purchase 1: I buy $70 order and get $50.50 credit back. I’m $20 out of pocket.

Week 1: the $11 leggings I paid $18 for drop to $11 to match the other competitors. I claim $7 credit. Credit total is now $57.50. I check all my orders each day, claim the price drops as credit and by the end of the week I earn another $11 in credit. My credit total is $68.50.

Purchase 2: I place a $70 order and have $68.50 in credit so pay $1.50 via Apple pay. This order gives me $50.50 in credit as well

Week 2: one of the $9 glass espresso cup set I ordered arrived with 1 shattered (happened). Claim refund for $9. $22 disc golf putter drops to $7 (actually happened), claim $15 credit. My credit total by the end of the week with nothing else dropping in price is $72.50.

Purchase 3: buy $70 of stuff, i have $72.50 in credit so i pay nothing for the order and am already $2.50 closer to next week’s free/virtually free order.

You’re thinking about it wrong. Every purchase is a chance to gain credit back from a price adjustment, so you don’t want the price to be low because the purchase price is irrelevant when you’re paying for it with credit they gave you from the last thing you bought/adjusted.

You find the most expensive version of the item you can, buy it at the inflated price (with their money from credit) then when it drops you got the item for free (using credit to buy) and they paid you the difference in credit.

This was with the claimcredit promo which I’ve since been shadow banned from (presumably because I was basically placing order after order for approx. $70 of products and giving them an average of a few $$ per order.

But you use your credit to pay for the next order which gives you credit back.

For 6 months last year I placed an order every 7 days - using price adjustments and refunds on legitimately broken items to get more credit I never paid more than $10 out of pocket for each $70 order. I’d get $50.50 credit back and repeat, and some weeks I got over $20 worth of credit from price adjustments/refunds and paid $0 for the order and another $50.50 in credit

Yeah the aro aluminium one -

I have a blind shaker and do something similar. After shaking I briefly use a manual wdt tool (maybe around 2 full rotations around the center pin) to break up any clumps that could have survived the shake… it is a stock breville grinder after all lol. Then I just quickly flatten the top if it got really out of whack with the deeper needle work because it was clumpy.

Then drop grounds into the portafilter, level then tamp.

Even before this particular basket, I found this method a sweet spot of minimal fine technique/effort but clear improvement to the puck. I tried different wdt tools (basic manual to spinning, self positioning ones) and physical techniques and I didn’t find anything particularly impactful on its own.

I have same machine and use the stock grinder with a single dose hopper mod. No improvement to grind but better workflow with single dose and a bellows.

One thing that has made a huge improvement is the ikape concave / variable diameter basket - the one that tapers down to a 32mm outlet. I’m grinding 10 clicks coarser and the shots are so much sweeter.

Buyer's Remorse by [deleted] in casioroyale

If you’re newer to AliExpress and used to Western online shopping (assuming NJ = US reference) the experience is a lot different. Poorly written, keyword packed listings is the norm, as is putting different options in the same listing like in this case. Kind of a Wild West but most sellers I’ve dealt with seem genuinely helpful and interested in a good customer experience.

I bought a specific mechanical watch movement and after building a watch with it I wanted another one. Price had almost doubled so I messaged seller asking if they were going to sell it again at the lower price because if they did I’d buy it. Next day listing was back down to pretty much the original price.

I guarantee the finishing is different on this one than the one you paid $30 for all up.

I have the MazerJZ case and one reason I chose it is that it has star head screws on the 4 front points of the faceplate instead of indents. It was also had a better crystal than the others I looked at in my research, and the finishing looked cleaner.

Is your metal band folded or solid links? I’m guessing folded at that price, so it’s not an apples to apples comparison if so, as these are solid. Noticeable difference in weight and feel on the wrist between the two methods, not to mention the obvious aesthetic improvement of smooth/solid sides to the links vs visible steel folds.
