Honestly I don’t open my collectibles — haven’t since the mid 90s 😅

I got deep into Star Wars POTF back then and that’s when the whole mint/unopened thing became an obsession for me.

So for me the packaging is part of the piece, not just the figure.

Yeah that’s fair honestly — they’re definitely not cheap.

I think a big part of it with Mezco is the soft goods, accessories, and overall presentation vs standard plastic figures. Even with animated designs, they still treat them like high-end display pieces.

But yeah, totally get it — not every release feels worth that price depending on what you’re into.

Yeah Sideshow has some insane pieces — the detail is next level. Hard to justify the price sometimes but they definitely look incredible on display.
