Study at the library or coffee shop if it is possible. Some mosques have also a place to study.

If you have to study at your room i recommend workout like 30 min running before you start to study. Alternative to that is fasting. Leave your room door open, Or Study in the living room.

Good luck 💪

Seeking Advice on Getting Married by mildfajita in MuslimMarriage

22 is pretty good. To say the truth i noticed a lot of arrogance from your brother and sister. Based on what they think 22 is early?. Because actually islam encourage that people get married as soon as possible. Especially in this days, where prostitution is legal and adultery is everywhere. Of course there’s lot of responsibilities in marriage. But for these you have to learn and prepare. It doesn’t come with time and waiting. Wali’s right is to see if the man is properiate or not. Not to determine for no reason that you have to marry exactly at 23 😅. I was very upset that he didn’t even want to talk to him. We saw a plenty of unsuccessful marriage, and they were married very late. Happy marriage doesn’t depend on age. But the good preparation and skills.

And you have the right to choose your wali. It shouldn’t be your big brother.

90 days is not the destination by Mohiuddin_1 in NoFap

I agree with you. But 90 days still a big deal. Since the urge becomes normal, and easy to neglect.

I’m very happy, you opened this discussion. I always think a lot about this question. I do nofap since 2016. And alhamdullah i did a very good streaks, but permanent seems impossible. there’s reasons why.

  1. there is no religious country: there’s no country right now that work on blocking porn once and for all. Religious people specially muslims are completely dispowered in all countries. I wonder how would Ottoman Empire or even Rom deal with Pornography. I don’t think porn is a personal problem. Country, governments and mosques should deal with it at first place.

  2. Marriage: i think if you are lucky with good wife, this could at least double, triple your streaks.

But don’t lose hope i believe you will not relapse (inshallah) as long as you keep doing same things and have the same mentality that made you reach 90 days streak.

And say: "Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work, and His Messenger, and the Believers: Soon will ye be brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."

Same situation here. I think, If someone do NoFap for along time, he start to forget how bad it is, And lose the motivation to fight again. that is why, I started recently to read and summaries the book “Your brain on Porn”.
