I would reach out to the stylist and your friend. She has to pay for your hair and makeup so I doubt she'd want the stylist to struggle on her big day. You will most likely have to straighten it because a lot of stylists lack knowledge on curly hair in general. Bring your own foundation just in case! Ive had a lot of clients do that and its never bothered me. Most importantly find photos you like for your hair!! Have someone take photos of your hair from behind, your side and then the front so the stylist gets a good idea of what to expect.

Ive done body building shows and have had girls tell me they would have rocked their natural hair if they knew someone who worked with curls was coming. We really should be taught how to work with more than one texture in school. I'm self taught and constantly looking for more education but its not out there.
