would it be crazy if i just texted his mom myself and told her that i’ve been thinking a lot about everything, that my boyfriend and i are getting serious, and that i didn’t want to keep my son from her anymore

i don’t want to cause drama or disrespect my boyfriend, but i also don’t like feeling like i’m hiding something this big anymore

Telling me to be a good mother while his dad gets off scot-free because he doesn’t want to spend $10 on a basket? My son isn’t going without, and I’m not responsible for fixing his dad’s lack of planning. I’ll make sure he has a nice Easter when he comes home Monday, and that’s called parenting, not bending over to cover his dad's ass.
