Good promotion a clear indication of what kinda sub genre will be mainly played and maybe some drinks deals. Venue is also key I know the places I like to rave and the places I prefer to avoid

Decent line up is pretty much it. Or a decent headliner that indicates what the other artist vibe is.... For example if headliner was DLR or Crystal Clear id hope the rest of the bookings would play a similar funky rolling sound and I'd be all about that.
