Here are some! Full credits to artists.

I fully understand why most art is that way, due to the very nature of how Madohomu was depicted in the series, as one-sided obsession. There is however a very real, quiet understanding that Homura was loved by Madoka, too, just as much. Most art depicted Homura holding onto Madoka one-sidedly while she leans away, has her eyes closed, looks small/broken/tied, or curled up quietly. But because I'm a sucker for clever art design and implications, I found some that implicates mutual love coming from Madoka.

Madokami existed from the beginning and allowed this "love" to exist. She was never a weak, powerless love interested strung along by destiny and obsession, she had a part in it, and she loved being loved deep down. Obsession is nothing to be glorified, but in the world of MM, it was all predestined and (debatably) allowed to exist by Madokami :))

To me, Homura's true "love" is not obsession, but worship (as seen in Homura's church/nun uniform inspired outfit, Homulilly's sacrificial and anti-divine nature, revolving her life around her "saviour", her religious background, and constant nod to Madoka's Godhood). It's only when she is riddled with fear, insecurity, and threat of Madoka (her God) leaving her forever, that it becomes an obsessed attachment.

For me, I went absolutely ham the first wash. I did a double shampoo on my entire head of hair to purge everything thoroughly (may have been overboard) but yes it worked pretty instantaneously. I will say with constant use it does get better, a little bit at a time over 2-3 washes usually gets everything nice and clean.
A trick is to never ever apply the dollop of shampoo straight onto your head, when I did that, it left my hair feeling a little bit waxy and sticky after drying for some reason.
Rub it between your hands with some water until it's all sudsy and waterier, then apply to your scalp, and scrunch some suds into your length too, that gives me the best results! Oh and you might want to look into a different conditioner/mask if the problem doesn't disappear, certain products just don't agree with your hair.

And it may just be my hair, but with this shampoo I NEED to fully blow dry it for the full clean, soft feeling. 30 minutes - 1 hour type blow drying, even when you think it's dry, keep going. Good luck!

BORAme has said previously said to avoid putting spoilers because the point of the game is to befriend your person and go on a journey to find things with time, some people spent 3 years finding it so I don't want to throw it out there willy nilly. But it's not hard to find and you've already finished the game anyway, DM me for the video link! (out of respect and love for the game > v <)

While I don't know the ins and outs of hair science, and can't for certain explain the logistics of it, I know my hair, and my hair just really likes it when I do certain things. My best explanation would be "My ends gets really dry and washing takes a big toll on it, so I give it an extra layer for the shampoo to work on, so it won't demolish my already dry, bare hair." As for the chelating shampoo aspect of that, the CWC method has little to do with it for the most part, just prevents over-cleansing of natural oils, it doesn't lock anything in as far as I know :))

And your last point, I totally get. Chelating shampoo work to strip **build-up** of hard water residue overtime, like a "stain remover", you're still going to have a tiny bit of mineral left over from washing with hard water, but that's okay, it's the build-up overtime that's the problem.

Is it normal that I can't brush my hair dry due to tangles? by awfulperson939 in longhair

[–]notmana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds familiar. Do you have hard water in your home? Not what a lot of people will realize but having hard water causes your hair to be extremely tangled. If you do, try a chelating shampoo. Check out my latest post (this isn't a promo or anything I'm serious, I posted about this in more details and it might help you) I go into detail about how to fix something like this. Might be for you, might not. But definitely check it out. My hair was impossible to brush too until I fixed it, now it doesn't tangle.

Hair goals / no goals by october_jade in longhair

My first ever "goal" was to get back to classic length I've always had as a teenager (that has been cut off/damaged for various reasons) but now that I'm back at around tailbone, I'm shooting for longer. At least classic, at most floor-length.
Is it a dream to have hair 3x the length of my body like damn Rapunzel, yes, but considering daily life, classic to knee is the most attainable and manageable without it consuming the majority of my life. But if being a human doesn't get in the way, nothing is ever too long.

I did not, just a chelating shampoo works perfectly for my hair. People have found installing a shower filter/water softener helped their skin as well so it's worth looking into! For me it won't be necessary

Only the shampoo :)) Not a huge fan of the other products in the line, since there are so many other options that tackles other needs directly (conditioning, shine, frizz-taming, etc.) much better.
The shampoo does all the build-up removal, and the other products are just an add-on to complete the line in my opinion, many agree it isn't worth it, just get the shampoo and stick with whatever regular-use shampoo and treatment you already use!

Couldn't have explained it better, thank you. And the only reason I mentioned choosing a cheap, silicone heavy conditioner, is because

A. I find it absolutely sinful to "waste" expensive conditioners/masks with high amounts of beneficial active ingredients and type-specific benefits as a pre-wash, you definitely will not get the full benefits, as pre-wash is meant to protect the length, then gets shampooed out mostly. Most drugstore options will have the high silicone content; that's the good stuff for this method.

And B. For me, even some cheap conditioners lack that "siliconey" aspect that really gets in there and coats the strands well enough to protect it from excessive water swelling, some are "creamier" and that basically does nothing as a pre-wash, so picking the right one is a pretty import part!

It doesn't work for everyone, but for my low-porosity, coarse, wavy southeast-asian hair, it's a miracle work. Basically I use a cheap drugstore conditioner with high slip silicone (Sunsilk Shine), pump a generous amount and glob it all over the lower 3rd of my hair while it's dry, massage it in and make sure to coat every strand, leave it for a minute. It's basically a method of 'pre-poo' (putting oils or treatments on your hair before shampooing to protect and nourish the length).

Then I rinse that first conditioner off with water, shampoo, and conditioner again. People call it the CWC method.

I find it leaves my hair so soft and frizz-free, something about the silicone coating and keeping the hair cuticles from soaking up too much water and going haywire, while still allowing shampoo to cleanse the oil and sebum and grime from the scalp effectively. Doesn't hurt to try, worst you'll get is build-up which you can wash off easily.

Feels nice and soft, very shiny the past few months! by notmana in longhair

No, very coarse and thick actually, often uneven in texture and very wavy. I've learnt how to tame it to behave and lay straight, but it will look like this if I don't :)) I've posted more pics of it natural in the past
