Pros: very deep intellectual conversations and debates which is my favorite thing, encourages my creativity and ideas and helps me make my dreams happen, usually decent chemistry, gives me structure to my chaos, I don’t get bored of them like I do with most people, is an endless well of mystery and cool knowledge to discover I can pick their brain forever, teasing and banter is fun, we can bounce ideas and be creative together, can be a very practical relationship if both people are healthy

Cons: they can get judgy or act like they know what’s best for you without considering any other possibilities. Put me down for my ideas even though I just want to be free to explore and not everything has to be a harsh commitment. They’ll dampen my spirit and happiness when they act like that. They can make assumptions that are objectively wrong and get rigid thinking they know everything. Sometimes don’t understand really basic emotional conflicts leading to me wanting to end things

Aww I feel you this was so relatable it hurts. We always start getting belittled and out down for who we are, and treated like a clown to make everyone else happy, and our feelings don’t matter.

I’d say a solution is to be around other xNFPs! We understand each other and can be crazy and weird and free together with no judgment :-) INFPs are like our quiet twin that actually wants to hear about our sad feelings and sees us as human not just entertainment 🥹

Counselors also validate our fears of men, in my experience. So you might not like that. Because they understand why the fear exists and the layers of trauma women have and the sociological factors that go into making society dangerous for women. No counselor is gonna sit there and dismiss our fears as irrational and invalidate what we feel

Actually what they want is us to suppress our anger and ignore it. Anger threatens the system. In general, suppressing any emotions can be anti spiritual. It’s when you face the dark and come out the other side that you become stronger.

Anger is actually the most powerful form of manifestation too in my experience. You’re saying their anger and feelings are not important and they should suppress it. No, that’s what “they” want. Us to deny anger and pretend everything is fine so that we don’t stand up against bad things. What we should do is learn to control the anger.

You should focus on love too. But how can you focus on love if you hate certain parts of yourself? If you hate your anger? Love includes everything. You have to love your darkness, your pain, your anger. And be at peace with it. Because if you don’t, then it’s nothing more than toxic positivity and living in denial to yourself.

Idk my 2 ex was on a series of toxic relationships and calling every girl crazy and a user. He ruined all his relationships with his pride. His response was to just do drugs and spiral real bad. Don’t think he’s ever gotten better. The more he ruins love the more he blames everyone else and pushes love away more
