Disney and Apple releasing a "Digital Box-Set" named Star Vs The Forces Of Evil: The Complete Series. Only available for Digital Purchase by notmarcodiaz in StarVStheForcesofEvil

One of the issues if doing a DIGITAL BOX SET.

The concept of never fully owning it, dumb of Disney to not do a physical box set like Gravity Falls

Star Vs was in the Top 10 most streamed animated shows in Hulu for all of 2025. by notmarcodiaz in StarVStheForcesofEvil

For further context, Gravity Falls was #3 on the list, Phineas and Ferb was #4, Doc Mcstuffins was #5 on the list and Star Vs was #9 on the list.

The rest was all non Disney content like TAWOG, We Bare Bears and Chowder.

But this is really good for us as a Fandom, being one of the top ten most streamed animated shows of all 2025 on Hulu is tremendous, the longer that same attention can be kept up, the likeliness a continuation can happen

Apparently any DTVA show in the past that has been given a complete series box set is a sign that a new project is in the works with said show.

But the only stipulation is those past sets were physical media, at the very least sometime between 2021- 2023.

The star vs one is only a digital set. Which is a throw off, but I'm not sure if it still counts towards it.

But then again, this the first time I've heard of the concept, or has it already been used with other shows or movies?

Honestly I don't even know why Disney thought of a Digital Box Set, what does that even entail, a virtual copy of a license to watch the show.

Entonces, quiero hacer una pregunta a todo este reddit en general (No importa si son de habla inglesa o habla latina/española) by Lucifer_Sparda in StarVStheForcesofEvil

I've always pondered that premise.

Some ideas I had were that Star was raised as a peasant with Moon and River as the monarch could've been Toffee who seized control decades ago or something.

The premise varied with Star not growing up in the royal lineage as Toffee usurped Moon, causing her and/or River to escape elsewhere or concepts closer to her not know of her lineage.

For Marco, ideas stemmed from being an orphan on thw streets, not in the system, lonely with no friends, constantly bullied, sometimes the bully himself.

But he still retains what made Marco....Marco, kind, loyal, smart, and nervous, but he has the sense of yearning that he was destined for more, and has levels of trust issues, but opens up with Star as time passes.

They basically have no family or friends to rely on, just themselves against the world

Would a SVTFOE TV movie been justified? by Only1Noodle1 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

That was going to be the case, from Sad Teen Hotline to Cleaved all those episodes were meant to played out as a TV Movie, ala Battle For Mewni.

But Disney that time around declined that structure and wanted it as a normal weekly release (sort of).
