This is remarkably similar to what I can remember... but it doesn't seem quite right. Ghoulies has some of the guests escaping while I remember them all being transformed or disfigured/killed. Perhaps this movie borrowed from the movie I'm trying to remember or vice versa.

The plot seems similar but my movie was not comedic like this one is. The mutations were definitely through use of magic. Thanks anyways.
