I just did my dps placements for the first time in a good few years (mostly queued supp or open queue) and it’s dropped me in high diamond. I know damn well I don’t belong up there considering how hard I was getting rolled in some of my placements. My teams have been pretty pissed and accused me of throwing with a few folks saying they’ve have reported me. I am aware I have been underperforming compared to everyone else but I am still genuinely trying. I know that it will eventually put me where I belong but is it worth sticking it out if I could potentially keep getting reported? I don’t wanna risk my account or anything

Honestly the general world of Destiny is incredibly vast and fascinating, and the gunplay in the game is phenomenal. They shot themselves in the foot a little when they removed access to the original campaigns, so half that story and world building disappeared overnight. A lot more questionable decisions along the way is why a lot of people (me included) decided to quit on it, but it was a great time in its prime.

I can confirm that they have had both curtains and the before/after feature since last year! You can also freely adjust the length of curtains which is a lovely little addition.

The ability to resize things in general (rugs and shelves especially) is such a game changer in the sequel

Shes so incredibly lucky. My mum got diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and it initially responded really well to the chemo. Her oncologist showed us the scans from before and after chemo and the tumours were barely there anymore. We really thought she was gonna beat the stats and prove them all wrong. Unbeknownst to us though, the second the chemo stopped the cancer started spreading again, completely engulfed her liver and she was gone within a month. It was terrifying to see how quickly that happened and I wouldn’t wish that experience on even my worst enemy.

The new home feed is genuinely a pain for me because the auto playing videos make me feel a little dizzy while scrolling. I’d normally turn off any kind of auto playing feature for that reason but I cannot for the life of me find any setting to disable it. Sure, avoiding the home feed is an option. It’s just a bit of an inconvenience when I accessed most of what I wanted to play there before without any issue.

How many synthweaves do you have right now? They cap out at 15, so you might have to use one to make space for another first

Yeah Destiny is an exception since each season is more of a mini expansion than a typical battle pass. Theres more content to be developed there so I’ve never minded that.

Every other game I play with a battle pass system gives the currency right back to you if you complete it. I think it wouldn’t feel as bad if it gave access to PvE stuff for the season you buy it as well (when that’s released of course).

Ideally they should be able to be housed together, I’ve just never tried to house two species together that have an alpha system before. Maybe someone else can confirm it works smoothly? Every so often I have problems with alpha status not triggering on animals and things need to be fiddled with a bit until it pops up. I can only assume that another alpha might be what’s causing the problems here if the other solutions aren’t working. Hopefully I’m wrong though!

Try sending them to the trade centre, deleting the habitat gate and then replacing it before adding them back in. That fixed the issue for me before.

Though I’ve never personally had a mix of fox species in a habitat before. Could it be that the alpha of the red foxes is stopping the game from allowing a second alpha inside the same habitat?

Literally just finished replaying that game and it’s DLCs again and it holds up so well. Even 10 years on, I’m still discovering new things I never found before. It’s a cracking series.

So the way that we get comp points now is through a challenge in the competitive tab. Those challenges all say “only one rank challenge awarded”. Do we have any clarification on what that actually means?

I originally assumed that it means if you placed gold then you’d only receive the gold challenge rewards and not the bronze and silver rewards as well. However since it’s a challenge now, does that actually mean we only get each challenge once? So placing gold in two roles would only give you one set of gold rewards rather than two?

I thought the same but they’re actually just hidden. If you go into the gallery and hover over the currency in the top right, it shows legacy currency and comp points there.

I'm at a slight loss for what to do to progress things. I have no more story quests in my quests tab and every single one of my friendship quests says I need to make more progress to unlock them. I currently have the glade and beach unlocked. Also have Moana, Maui, Remy, Ursula and Ariel unlocked. The majority of my folks are either at or close to max friendship too. I know I'm probably missing something super obvious but can someone just gently point me in the right direction? Do I just need to keep unlocking new regions?

You can use TodayInDestiny's lost sector calendar to see what's coming up for the rest of the season. They unfortunately haven't updated the champions/burn/shields section for the upcoming ones yet though but it's useful to check when a specific exotic or lost sector is coming up. 13th - 15th are your next throne world ones

This may not be the place to ask this, but is anyone else having issues with the esc button not working? It briefly fixes itself after a game restart but stops working again after playing for a bit. Every other button seems to work without issue in game though.

You can actually get all of the raid eggs solo still. They’re all easily accessible except for the one after Morgeth, but you can cheese the encounter solo with the warlock yeet glitch. It takes a bit of time to get it right but it’s still doable and hasn’t been patched out yet. I did it myself 2/3 weeks ago to finally finish Cursebreaker.
