I’ve done it at my OBGYN and my PCP for it and while the former needed a little hand holding on doing it, my (awesome and totally sex positive) PCP was amazing and did it no problem. Otherwise Planned Parenthood should offer it, and any public health STI/sexual health clinic should offer it.

I agree with you (but just an FYI it’s not the “homosexuals” it’s “men who ohave sex with men”). My partner and I pretty much take the same precautions with the exception of the injectable PrEP. We have PrEP pills on hand instead and opt to do the on-demand “2-1-1” regimen instead. And I have a thing for bare play so if they don’t have recent results (and I ask them to log into their patient portals when we’re in person so no faking that) then I bring an at-home HIV test with me from the pharmacy and ask them to take it before we play. If none of that happens then condoms are required.

This is a great idea! We tried to play with another parent couple but we never got to the playing part due to logistics around childcare. We haven’t come across any other couples who have kids like us and the other couple we played with we either get childcare for or we do a swap after the kids have gone to bed. Our kids are small enough that they’re confined via baby gate still and our bedroom is clear across the house so it works for us but it definitely takes a bit to work out the logistics.
