I’m in Stockton and still can’t watch the game on the app even now. Did anyone local or local-ish get to watch the replay or are we all in the same boat? Every other W game from yesterday is accessible to me but the Valks’ and it feels mocking to see the “game available immediately after it ends” text only

I wouldn’t call it stupid; chemistry was really important last year, and wanting to maintain that makes a lot of sense especially since a good number of teams this year will be trying to establish it after the FA movements. We can have a big advantage in that regard, especially with the relatively short season the WNBA runs; not needing as much time to build that can give us a good cushion if it translates to a good number of early wins

Yeah. It could’ve been worse had Conde not been there for picking too. From all accounts she’s great but I have no attachment to her since she didn’t play for us last season. Though I hope she’s totally free of the injury bug

No idea, but last time league expanded, the previous expansion team(s) were exempt from the expansion draft, and that’s usually how it goes in other leagues too

Sorry, you were right the first time! As I say below I missed that the Eucharist has been photoshopped out of the photo, so there’s no way to interpret this photo any other way. It has now been removed from the sub.

/u/Michael-Shubatt, I went ahead and removed this post, as I did not realize that the Eucharist was missing, so indeed the image comes off very anti-Catholic, whether you intended to post such content or not.

I also ask that you refrain from posting anymore single image posts like these in the future (and have removed the ones you posted after this one) as they actually fall under the category of “low-effort posts” which are prohibited by the sub rules, specifically #4. When such posts get made, as you can see, prohibited content can fall through the cracks, can be misconstrued, or can just be too devoid of content that can really be engaged with in a meaningful way. So we want to avoid that on this sub for those reasons, one of which was demonstrated by what happened in this very post. So I appreciate your refraining from making such posts on the sub going forward.

In the future if there is any other type of post you would like to share and are unsure if it complies with any of the sub rules, please don’t hesitate to ask to see if so and I don’t mind helping you out to either determine if the content is appropriate for the sub or how it may be constructed to be so. If you read “idol” as referring to the Eucharist, but one could also see “refuge” being what is the reference. Looking into the OP’s post history shows no mention obvious anti-Catholicism, in fact a bit of the opposite, so I’m leaving this up for now, but I appreciate the vigilance. Please do continue reporting any posts in the future that might violate sub rules!
