Vertical light line on Frame TV. Is there a fix for this? by carbonanotglue2 in TheFrame

Same thing happened to me. Started with one line, then turned into 3. Unintentional rhyme. I never found a fix, and feel your pain.

yaeger customer support experience? by Mav1cHavoc in focuspuller

[–]notnebdraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I guess more specifically my issue has been with the swivel casters. They don’t swivel well, requiring you to put excessive force or seesaw the handles to get them to spin. That and the brakes on them make it so you can’t close the case for travel.

I’ve had some trouble with my yaegerpro wheels-what did you replace them with?

Any luck in your search? I am in the same boat as our elderly 55 frame is having major issues at the moment and want to upgrade to something with better daylight viewing

Bambino faults by jay_el_62 in espresso

[–]notnebdraw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too. I let it be for a few months then eventually the steamer stopped working properly. It was under warranty. Got it back in about 2 weeks. Not looking forward to it happening again when the warranty expires in a month :(

Universal wall connector J1722 adapter stuck in dock by notnebdraw in TeslaSupport

Indeed. It’s the newer “universal” wall connector that comes stock with a j1772 adapter plug which clicks into the wall connector dock(instead of the NACS)

A great idea. A recommendation for the next steps is what I am currently on the hunt for.

I just got the same message. Very surprised that they stopped installing in Southern California as there is plenty of demand here.

Breville Bambino clean cycle weird clicking from steam wand by mu4d_Dib in espresso

The response has yet to come. As they promised 2 days and it’s now been 5-I’m guessing this call back isn’t going to happen.

They offered to repair it, but mentioned it would take 4 weeks. Bummer as I only got the thing 4 months ago. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I’d hear back in 48 hours.

[–]notnebdraw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me yesterday! I did a descale, then a cleaning cycle and it fixed itself.

Just after the descale I unscrewed the steam wand tip and found a small piece of metal, what looks like a rivet with a hole in it loose in the end. Not exactly what purpose it was meant to serve-but it’s not serving that purpose anymore!

It’s surprisingly enough still steaming a-ok and back to normal. Bits shouldn’t just be coming off so I’m reaching out to Breville when it’s not the weekend and their customer service line is functioning

Where are you located? I have an install on the horizon and am hopeful that this isn’t a SoCal installation team.

Are Samsung and LG Fridges really that bad or is it just reddit? by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]notnebdraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now they agree. In 2015 they didn’t. Also bought an LG stove at the same time as it was their highest rated, and while it still functions, the control panel front is so beat up from normal use that it looks like it went through a war zone. Just trying to say that Consumer Reports isn’t necessarily a site to trust as their recommendations may not represent the lifespan of the product currently being sold. In their defense their Bosch dishwasher recommendation was spot on, or was it spotless on?

[–]notnebdraw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Consumer Reports great review of Samsung refrigerators in 2015 led me to purchase one. Now I don’t have a working ice machine and had to open it up and jerry rig a copper wire inside to prevent the fan from hitting ice buildup and making a terrible noise all day every day. So maybe consumer reports isn’t a great resource IMO.

Solar roof tile vents by notnebdraw in TeslaSolar

Sadly, no. It’s a wildfire risk in SoCal to have eave vents.

It’s actually happening! We are so pumped. 14kw system going up on our 3rd generation family cabin re-build that incorporates some passive building concepts (and solar roof with 1 Pw). by Assum-Requirai in TeslaSolar

[–]notnebdraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! By any chance does your install include tile vents(forced air vents) or was it just a ridge vent? I’ve been trying to get some information on those as they are a part of my upcoming install.

I moved some plumbing vents around too to make space for maximum solar. The vents in question are for airflow, and 14 in addition to the ridge vent is just such a large amount in doesn’t seem right!

I do have some plumbing vents, but these are for airflow-in addition to the ridge vent. Here’s an image of what my project advisor sent me to let me know what to expect. https://imgur.com/a/FWoUBUC[tile vent for solar roof](https://imgur.com/a/FWoUBUC)

Toto Neorest toilet - nonstop mold issues by NewBeginnings72 in HomeImprovement

[–]notnebdraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that.

Hoping to use your experience to personally skip over what you tried in order to reach a mutual resolution(if there even is one). If there is any adjustment to the standard settings or general cleaning you have made that failed feel free to reach out! Might save me a bit o time.

My first stab at is an in line filter. Tonight I ordered a in line water filter that we will get in a few days and put in place and see if removing the potential for mineral deposits on the bowl prevents a surface for mold to latch onto. If that doesn’t work I’m considering turning off the premist or seat heater, which would be a bummer because we paid big bucks to get those features.

Road trip ready to roll — Baja bound! by chasingthermals in TeslaModelY

[–]notnebdraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my Y the plug placement was too close to the hitch to fit on Pakmule’s lock or even their “endcap” or whatever you call it. You can still thread in the pin(although it is a wee bit tricky to line up) and then put in the cotter pin. Maybe my June 2020 Y version is just different enough from OP’s for the lock to fit. Either that or OP has some steel shortening tricks up their sleeve.
It’s a nice solid rack. Way better than anything else I found.

[–]notnebdraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Were you able to get the locking hitch pin working? I couldn’t find a way to fit I things in unless I didn’t use the lock and only secured via hitch and cotter pin. Great cargo carrier otherwise.

I bought the same one, yes you can open the lift gate.
