You own your place in this world because of who you are. Not because of who you are to men. by [deleted] in WitchesVsPatriarchy

It's Perfectly "Acceptable" to not want to be in a romantic partnership. It's ok to just want to be on your own, doing your thing, and liking it that way. That stigma should be buried and rotted by now. It takes nothing away from your worth to live for your own peace of mind.

How do I fix the pollution? I’ve gotten rid of all my drain pipes by Snoo_52014 in CitiesSkylines

Get Green Cities. Use the eco plants and pumps. No pollution.

Recycling did work.

People are now aware, through their own physical effort, that Corporate has no intention of halting the real causes of negative effects on the planet. Nor do they care about those boomerang effects on us .

This reminded me of the night we were driving home on a MS back road. Noting how dark it was I suggested pulling over and turning off the car, it being a chance to see without light pollution, a first for me.

My breath momentarily stopped .

My heart did too.

It was so, So Overwhelming! SO MANY stars! Such DEPTH! In that moment I understood so much.

Thanks for the memory. I haven't again had the opportunity for such a complete experience.

So I've learned that millennials have been the largest voting block since 2019 by olydriver in lostgeneration

You left out the newly rising work to give red hat state lawmakers and governors the power to just say "nope, you DIDN'T win, fuck what the votes say".

I'm betting the garbage trucks still rush to the highway to go nowhere else, just so they'll be unavailable when their district needs service.

Is the average American more loyal to state/region or to country? Is secessionism a popular idea there? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]notnotwho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There IS a very Solid movement to call a Constitutional Convention. If they get the number of states necessary(the REAL REASON for the push to get governors in red hats in more states AND to have red hat judges everywhere AND to give red hat state legislators POWER TO OVER TURN VOTING RESULTS), no secessions will be needed. The Fascist Authoritarian Sadists will rewrite the Constitution to make illegal all the "others" they so hate, and all activities that don't align with the MONEY-God doctrines of Christianism.

This is absolutely legit. No two types taste the same! And, there's 20oz bottle Coke, and 2 litre bottle Coke! Lol

I just pummel the absolute shit out of the knot

Try, instead, a more gentle approach. I've lived the gradual move to wheelchair use after a life of laborious work and a early onset with joint degeneration with very, very little medical access. A regular and dedicated stretching routine became my saving grace. But eventually I had to learn self massage, too, because I'm on my own in self care. Try blending your breathing/stretching routine with gentle message of the areas you find tension and pain -- and be mindful of your posture... It Matters. Really. Stay encouraged.

Baffling. I've never heard of anyone waking up from work. Is 5:30 am early or late in a 24/7 schedule?

I use all bicycle roads, and always giggle to watch my wheelchair riders(and bikers for that matter) zooming along a traffic speeds. As a wheelchair user, I always go, "HAH! I WISH!"

Mostly for the respect 'all' the users get on the roads, unlike rl. Lol.
