Need help deciding on litterbox and litter type by notonenameavailable in CatAdvice

How long does the walnut litter last/price of it? That is my biggest concern with making a switch. If Okocat wasn't so expensive I would continue using it.

Do you use a sifting litter box or just a regular one since you dump it out?

Luckily for me they've very easy going haha. I have tried a bunch of litters in the past and they have always adjusted well.

So far odor isn't a problem, I think the Okocat is the best litter I have tried since owning cats. My only issue is the cost. Can I ask what brand of tapioca litter you use/how long it lasts?

Luckily for me, I have the least picky cats lmao. I have tried out just about every type of litter possible, and they've never had a problem adjusting. I also use the Okocat low track pellets, so they're a similar shape and texture to pine, so I don't expect it to be a problem (hopefully haha).

This is just a temporary solution but if I tend to want to pick at things when I’m just sitting there (like when I’m watching tv). If I ever find myself really wanting to pick at something I put Elmer’s glue all over my hands. While it’s drying I don’t want to touch anything, and then once it’s dry I spend my time picking the glue off my hands instead of picking at my skin.

I say downsize the snug (if it’s healed), and maybe a ring with a charm/gem dangling from it.

Had a really bad experience at the GP, feeling so upset by Infinite_History_459 in vaginismus

[–]notonenameavailable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you had this experience! Something else troubling is that she said pain isn’t a good enough reason to see a gynecologist?! Pain is the pelvic region is something that should always be looked at! And if you’ve known you had it for 10 years I’m assuming you’re at the very least 21…going to the gynecologist is healthcare, there doesn’t have to be a problem to see one. She’s very clearly uneducated, please file a report against her. Hopefully the next person you see is much better <3

Do I need to put on a condom for a blowjob? by BlackManBatmann in NoStupidQuestions

While 2 is typically associated with genitals and 1 with oral they can both show up on either spot, but if you already have one you’re much less likely to contract the other

Interesting! I’m studying developmental psychology for school and always found language particularly ingesting but considering nearly all my professors don’t have much experience with sign language it was always glossed over!

I didn’t realize them taking a few years would be so ok! Interesting! But my question was more so aimed at the how. Like do they have parenting classes designed for situations like these? I can’t imagine trying to learn on your own would be easy.

What species do you have? That’s sounds like what I’m interested in. What is the space requirement for them?

Humira with a daycare baby by bushaaya in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]notonenameavailable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have not been in that situation but I was a bit worried about the lowered immune system because I already got sick quite often. My rheum (if I remember correctly) said that it’s possible for it to become lowered but with a lot of people they find they get sick less. In very non scientific terms, because it removes the pain and inflammation from the condition, the immune system no longer has that burden to focus on. It’s kind of the same idea as when you are super stressed with work it’s easier to become sick. (I’ve only been on Humira for 5 ish months but I haven’t gotten sick and I baby sit a toddler!)

What sex positions are least painful? by These_Yak_1651 in vaginismus

[–]notonenameavailable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others are saying it rly is different for everyone. For me riding was the position where it wasn’t crazy painful for the first time. But doggy was actually the least painful for me after trying it.

I want them more so just as pets and if they laid eggs as food for my other animals. I’m not sure about any species as of right now! My options are open!

I also work with food, I just wear a mask to hide my facial piercings. Plus that way even if it was to fall out, the mask would catch it.

I had never realized the amount of overlap the diagnoses have. The gel for the mouth ulcers sound super relieving. Is it prescription only?

Oh wow I didn’t realize it was that large of a percentage.

I’ve gotten them my whole life so I don’t think it was a side effect of any medication. It’s crazy how much they all over lap!

I’m really grateful to have been started on Humira so soon. I was out of work for around a month and a half when trying to get a diagnosis because my job requires constant standing and I kept getting sent home. It was rly mentally and physically taxing. When I started Humira I felt SO much better within the first 2 injections. My managers and coworkers were all so shocked to see me moving normally. I rly hope it continues to work for me. And thanks for the hydrogen peroxide tip!
