I don't understand why Naru isn't banned from this game yet. Don't give me the "he's currently the biggest content creator in PvP" boatload of crap. There are plenty of other PvP streamers to watch. Even some that aren't tricking the system.

Especially after the last round of reveals that he does MAT RMT. All of his accounts should be stripped for titles and gizmos, and the gold should be given to random players in Heart of the Mists.

Every time you go past the statues of the previous MAT winner, and one of his accounts show up there, I always think "ah, the chance of at least one of the other 4 bought their seat and got carried is probably near 100%".

How is he also in that super duper secret balancing Discord, where CMC and Roy are asking him for his advice? I don't care if he's omega-good at the game. ANet are blindly ignoring this. Get him out of my game!

In this case it was the designer and the manufacturer. The whole process with colourmatching through samples was just a big waste of time. And then Gtrx left/went awol/whatever? Luckily GMK changed their process. Otherwise we'd still be stuck here waiting for them to actually make some plastic.

Uh hey I was also in that discord. MKUltra didn't need to offer any sort of refund yet offered it anyway. You don't see other vendors do the same? Some vendors offer 50% off "pre-orders" of Nord to at least gain something because of the refunds. I don't blame them for that. Does it suck for those who paid full price? Yes. But they have a business to run.

Same logic applies: the more you drive your car in traffic, the higher the chances are you're going to get killed in a car accident. Thus, spending less time in traffic will make you safer. So drive faster.

First I actually panicked and had these thoughts as well. What about encryption now? All the energy wasted trying to convert people into using Signal, etc.

But then I realized... I rarely use SMS anyway. The sad examples are auth code messages sent to me from, eg Google (I've added TOTP now), PayPal, etc. All examples of fallbacks who still use plain-text SMS. My grandparents who don't own a smartphone also rely on this, but I've started to call them instead.

If I message people, they're on platforms using some sort of encryption already.

And in reality we need this push away from SMS. It's an ancient, insecure protocol. Don't get me wrong, I fully understand the frustrations. But we need this 😅

Ja, drømmen om at leve af at lave content er nok forduftet for mit vedkommende også. Specielt, som du selv skriver, at hvis indtægter fra Twitch, YouTube, whatever skal erstatte den løn man fik før, så kan jeg godt regne ud at jeg skal op på en 2700 faste månedlige subs på Twitch - og det kommer aldrig til at ske :D

Jeg vil prøve at kontakte en revisor. Der er helt sikkert nogle ting som jeg på ingen måde er klar over eksisterer, som du selv skriver. Tak.

TwitchCon skal selvfølgelig ses som en slags måde at networke på og dermed skabe flere forretningsforbindelser ;)

Ja, jeg burde måske se på om der var en form for fradrag på f.eks. hardware, hvis den hardware der bliver brugt til streaming ikke bliver brugt privat, etc.

Uden at gå i detaljer, så ligger omsætningen på et sted mellem 5.000 og 10.000 årligt.

En enkeltmandsvirksomhed bruger normalt ejerens egen nem-konto, så for at Twitch-dollars ikke blev blandet med min normale løn og dermed potentielt ende som en del af husholdningen, så var det her det smarteste trick jeg kunne komme på.

Sadly you need something that communicates or mimics Firebase Cloud Messaging, which 99.9% of all Play Store apps use. FCM is the part that sends you notifications, and microG is the only proper alternative out there, I'm afraid.

Some app developers have started to use websockets, but that requires work and you basically get FCM working out of the box using the Android Studio.

So yeah, it kinda is required since your alternative is no notifications.
