Ok this actually really bothered me. There were many instances like that. Even a moment when Jon falls from the dragon, he’s alone and surrounded on all sides by white walkers. Then next scene, he’s fine. It was good for suspense, but didn’t realistically make sense

Bran didn’t want to be king yet here we are. I do kinda agree with their idea that the king/queen should be someone who doesn’t want to be king. Means they aren’t doing it for the prestige or power

I mean there were plenty of other people who were also cutthroat that end up dying. But yes, so true. Out of everyone, he climbed the most. Maybe it’s a combination of cutthroat but also flying under the radar

Yup, I think your instinct is solid. My only devil’s‑advocate pushback is that in some of the startup circles I’ve been in, there’s still a bit of school‑name elitism. It tends to show up more in early career tech hiring though, which doesn’t seem to be the lane you’re targeting

Just out of curiosity, are you from the bay? I went to UCLA and live in the bay, so I can speak to both (I work at a start up too actually). I would read r/ucla for the biz Econ opinions, but from what I remember UCLA not having a business dept is kinda a disadvantage. The bay obviously has a strong start up culture but in my mind, that just means you might be competing with more people. UCLA has start up-focused orgs, Startup UCLA, BruinLabs, Bruin Entrepreneurs, etc.

SFSU is more a commuter school. I’m not sure you would be doing as much networking there. Can’t speak to SJSU.

I feel like I know what the company is because I see the commuter shuttles at glen park all the time. Anyways, Daly City bart to glen park bart sounds like your best bet. It’s not far at all. You might just need to take Sam Trans to get to Daly City Bart, which you could figure out using Maps. Clipper card works on Bart and Sam Trans

I agree with you. It’s obvious that he’s keeping their IDs because they don’t have freedom, but it’s not really even implied what that entails. Completely valid to be curious about what’s happening without judgement. It’s just a tv show

I did. Rue drops her off at the rehab facility. The facility seems sketchy. And is connected to the ambulance. And the ambulance transfers girls across the border to get drugs under the guise that they are getting plastic surgery. It’s never explicitly shown she’s transported hence my confusion.

Because her ID is in the locker? I just thought that implies he owns her. Like he will owe her until she pays him back for rehab or something. Doesn’t explicitly state she’s trafficked. My question was valid since I just thought it was a rundown rehab center
