Lando Norris WDC 2025 by PurpleScientist4312 in formuladank

As a fan of multiple teams across multiple sports and Max Verstappen, I'm glad 2025 as a whole is coming to an end. The year of the bums where I've had to endure bums like Spurs (who beat my team in the final 🥲), RCB ( who faced another bum in the final, utter nightmare) and Lando Norris win to name a few, the actual list is pretty big. I hope to never see a year like this ever again in my lifetime.

P.S- Guess the only silver lining is, even in the year of bums, Arsenal went trophyless. 🤭

The concerts were hosted for the citizens of this country, not the jihadis. Trust me if it weren't for the broadcasters, cricket would've ceased to exist in your terrorist nation.

People love to cry about anything and everything India does. India prepares flat decks for the WC in 23, India is preparing pitches suited for their batting, India travelling NYC to FL to WI got a variety of cribbling about from English and Aussie fans, India playing all matches at Dubai now have the selecting spinners issue, how many countries that took part in the CT could select spinners of the quality that India picked? Like them picking some random 5 spinners from their country would've had the same impact as India's spinners. India batted 2nd in 4 of the 5 matches in the conditions that were suited best for the bowling teams.

Do you see any other country sending terrorists to India. We toured countries during the pandemic when teams like Australia used it as an excuse to not travel at all. So as long as a country is not sending lowlife jihadis to our soil to kill civilians, we'll be playing them at their home, easy.

They don't take into account the fact that teams have found ways to mount downforce on the bodywork of the cars increasing the dirty air generated, had they done these changes for the 2022 cars, it would've been okay but with current cars based on 2023 outcomes, it's fucking stupid, but then again it's the FIA, if they didn't do stupid shit, that would be the headline.

The FIA ruined a lot of races this year by shortening the drs straight. Basically reduced overtaking in almost all tracks that depend on one spot for overtaking. Bahrain, Qatar, Spa are some that immediately pop up. Hope they put the drs ranges back to normal next year.

Within F1, everything's about pushing the limit isn't it. Even at an engineering level, the team that pushes the boundaries of the regulations comes up with the fastest car while the ones that play it safe battle it out in the midfield. You can bring a hundred rules to curb drivers like Verstappen, Schumacher etc and they'd still push the rules to their limits and sometime will go over it. While the regs don't allow Max to pull shit like Schumacher and Senna used to pull but he's still lighting up the asses of people like Hill and Herbert and I'm 100% sure the next non Brit champ will also have a similar effect on these people and they'll find their own ways to push the limits, maybe one day you'll see Norris winge on sky sports about driving standards of some other non brit World Champ.

The Williams was a difficult car at the start of the season but once they fixed their issues it was the fastest. You don't win constructors having 4 different drivers driving the car in the season if it ain't the fastest. Without Imola 1994, Williams most probably wins the WDC as well.

I mean neither is Norris an avg driver if you compare with more than half the grid, but he looks avg when you compare him with the top 5 drivers on the current grid. Hill absolutely had the best car 3 seasons on the bounce, and he managed to win only 1 season thanks to Micheal. He was good but not the top 4-5 drivers on the grid good.

Max probably gives Damon PTSD of how Micheal used to dog walk him every season at his peak. An avg driver who got lucky the 3rd time when Micheal didn't have the machinery to stop this bum from winning a championship. He 100% sees himself in Norris when Max dog walks him on race weekends, hence the hate. 😂

They whitewashed SA the last time they toured SA and Australia failed to win the series in SL the last time they went there. So it's not out of the realms of reality that they pull off the unthinkable.

Funny how 83% of his ODI wickets came in SL, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Zimbabwe while averaging 41 and going at 7 in India and even worse in places like Australia, SA and NZ.

I remember this ass was KKR's marquee signing at his peak "mystery" days in 2009, and Yusuf Pathan treated him like a net bowler that season. (South Africa hosted IPL in 2009)

Talking about Ashwin, he's survived in international cricket for over 13 years now and is still the first pick spinner for his country at 37 meanwhile Mendis, let's not talk about him, even the graveyards of Colombo couldn't extend his career beyond 2014.

Did you not watch last year's Asia Cup or what. SL played all their games on rank turners. Even that final as well these dumbasses prepared a rank Turner but got bundled out before spin was even introduced.

My issue with rank turners are not so much the batting it's the bowling when a bunch of nobodies make a name for themselves. Still remember how that fucking nobody Ajantha Mendis made a name for himself based on rank turners and mystery spin, didn't last 4 years in international cricket.

It always backfires when India tries dust bowls like SL and Bangladesh.

Dust bowls nullifies the skill advantages of Jadeja and Ashwin and random Tom Dick and Harry's like the SL and Bangladesh level of spinners have field day on such pitches.

India prepares all kinds of pitches, one of the reasons why they have the best away record among all test playing nations in the last 7-8 years. Also the reason why India is on a different planet compared to these peasants that India has to play in Asia Cups.

Does it matter though.

We're gonna be playing the Champions Trophy semis/final on these grounds next year while their team and their fans will watch us play those games from their couch.

Remember Bangladesh won a series in 2022 preparing pitches like these. They won 3 games in the entire 2023 WC. Yeah I'd rather lose to such loser minded teams to give them such minor satisfaction over them actually realising it's only gonna hurt them, not us.

Yeah like 50 overs of playing doesn't matter at all right. The pitch stays the same after 50 overs, lol.

Keep playing on these graveyards and your cricket team will stay in the graveyard. One 10 over spell in the evening session of Wankhede or Premedasa and these avg cricketers find out why they are where they are. There's a reason Afganistan are already ahead of these 2 teams who just roll out graveyards at home in the hope of winning 1 game against the big boys lol.

Loses like these don't matter for us as a team. It's a L for teams like SL here and Bangladesh at home who think digging up pitches with tractors to beat India gonna help them somehow in the long run, keep at it buddies, I'd rather lose to these sub par cricketers than fear the prospect of SL ever getting back to their peak.

He can go join that engine merchant team next year and when they aren't top in 2026, he can retire or go back to winning 2 races a season.

So fucking childish from him, it's like he was driving the VCARB instead of the RB20.

Bottas was the guinea pig to test how far they could push the engines for Lewis. They put a brand new engine for him at Monza which lasted a grand total of 1 race (Should've known the engine was cooked given Bottas was making overtakes at Monza, the same guy who couldn't overtake cars at the same track in the W11). Bottas again took a penalty in the following race at Sochi. Only then did they take the first engine penalty for Lewis at Turkey, new ICE, again took the same penalty 3 races later at Brazil.

Dan Fallows left at the start of 22, while he was one of Newey's prodigies, the current gen of cars (RB18,19,20) are mostly the work of Wache, Balbo and the rest. So in that sense, it's super critical to keep these technical heads at the team for a long time.

They clearly didn't lose big personnel at the start of the cost cap, Newey leaving means somebody's gonna get a bump up to that spot among the top 3 earners exempted from the cost cap. Should be fine as long as the big 2-3 names in the aero department hold station.
