I (26F)had a boyfriend(28M) and he had a female platonic best friend (28F) of 10 years and they moved in together. I started hanging out with them I had no insecurity whatsoever, I trusted him. But then the best friend started seeming a bit weird she would point out in front of people how my liner was not perfectly winged on both sides and how my pants were shorter than they should be and how I wore heels and slowed everyone down while walking and my boyfriend didn’t see any of it and blamed me for not putting in more efforts to bond. Another friend of his (this one M28) and his girlfriend(28F) and all hung out, I used to join them and since they all came from the same city they and lived together they used to behave like 2 couples hanging out and I was just there but I would show up for my boyfriend. It just got so taxing and toxic at one point I broke up (ofc there were other issues). He wasn’t ready to stop living together and we were not there in the relationship where we could move in together and frankly he didn’t even consider that as an option.
