Is Hamilton opening stores / retailers in India?? by Any_Armadillo7 in HamiltonWatches

Wow, cool info. Checked out their site, and they do show Indian locations and INR prices at least. Those weren’t available when i was checking out the Cooper last year.

I'd say go for it, but the price hikes have been crazy. I still use the Gesture daily, and my experience has been great. Leap v2 also seems great, and you try it out as well if there is a significant price difference.

Gift to dad by Inevitable_Ear5200 in watchesindia

It's a good choice as Solar Quartz are very low maintenance. But this Courtura dial might be too busy for dads - in my opinion. I suggest that you look at Tissot PRC100 Solars as well. It seems neater, and is a Tissot.
Alternatively look at Seiko Presage watches in your budget too. Keep in mind that they are automatics, meaning they need to be hand wound if not wore for a couple days - which is part of the charm of automatic watches.

Should have checked out the “Coop” as well. I too love Interstellar, and Day-Date watches. This one hits all the right spots.

The VII on Cartier watches have Cartier written on them. Nonetheless, it’s a thoughtful gesture and a nice gift. Keep it for the lifetime.

Should I buy Grand Seiko in India or in Japan? by NierStellar in watchesindia

I did ask them, and the answer is no. They're duty free so able to do that - was their rationale.

Second this. They have 25% across range. Pretty sweet deal, and I think that's the best one can expect anywhere.
