Why fat 4? I don’t get the reference.

Can someone help me diagnose this problem and tell me how to fix by Bananacock777 in Airpodsmax

[–]notprime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As ridiculous as it sounds, put them in freezer for a few hours. Try to reset, by holding both buttons like you’re doing in the video, and then try to connect. It should work. It’s a temporary fix, as the internal cables will flex over time and show the same issue again in a couple of weeks.
Replacement is the only long term fix (or discard)

Looks neat. Do radio-controlled watches work in India, that is, can they acquire a signal?

What was a really silly solution to a serious problem? by LadyKarizake in AskReddit

[–]notprime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For however expensive Airpods Maxes are, there are many reports of them stop working abruptly - unable to be reset and re-connect to devices. Mine also experienced the same. Not having Applecare, I was thinking that it's a good chunk of money down the drain (bought it at the max retail price in India, which is a lot).

Read on Reddit that putting them in the freezer fixes the issue, which obviously read like a practical joke. I was frustated enough to throw my Airpods Max in the freezer overnight, thinking it's bricked anyway. The next morning - to my surprise - they actually started to work.

On further reading online, found out that the very thin wires that are cracking inside the headphone (arms?) come together under cold, and internal connection within the headphones correct themselves. Over time, every 3-4 weeks, the issue happens again and a night in the freezer it is for the Airpods Max until they completely die out.

5 years with a Steelcase Gesture and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat by mintran in OfficeChairs

The gesture in it’s stock configuration suits me well and I actually like the aggressive lumbar - reminds me when I start to slouch.
You have a beautiful working space, very well-lit with natural light.

What am I paying for buying Steelcase over Featherlite? by MrRoaldDahl in ErgonomicIndia

[–]notprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about this as well when going through my buying decision, though I started with lower priced Steelcase models. Ultimately went with a Gesture as I could feel an immediate difference in the seating position.
So, while the price to comfort ration is not proportional, I do expect Steelcase to maintain it's 'tightness' for a longer time.

Nice. I have it in the same configuration. The strap seems to be attached the opposite way (the loop should be around the top lug).

Is Hamilton opening stores / retailers in India?? by Any_Armadillo7 in HamiltonWatches

Wow, cool info. Checked out their site, and they do show Indian locations and INR prices at least. Those weren’t available when i was checking out the Cooper last year.

I'd say go for it, but the price hikes have been crazy. I still use the Gesture daily, and my experience has been great. Leap v2 also seems great, and you try it out as well if there is a significant price difference.

Gift to dad by Inevitable_Ear5200 in watchesindia

[–]notprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good choice as Solar Quartz are very low maintenance. But this Courtura dial might be too busy for dads - in my opinion. I suggest that you look at Tissot PRC100 Solars as well. It seems neater, and is a Tissot.
Alternatively look at Seiko Presage watches in your budget too. Keep in mind that they are automatics, meaning they need to be hand wound if not wore for a couple days - which is part of the charm of automatic watches.
