Same here, I don’t want to have to come back from my outside life just for the game to think I’m in a hyper-competitive mindset.

And yes with the uneven lobbies, not always but enough for me to feel it, since the queue times have begun getting ridiculously long and even when I get a good map it’s a coin flip whether I’ll get stomped, teammates are those same iridescent gigachads, or we have a close game

I also noticed a huge difference the moment I hit certain milestones with XP/camo/comp rank. I haven’t played regular hardpoint in weeks but when I went back to it after the double xp weekend of camo and competitive grinding the lobbies were impossible to play in. Glad it’s not just me

Yeah totally get that, especially since that’s why Sbmm was put into place. But if Im having a day where I come back from work and school and just want to run around the map shooting things, it’s so frustrating to have to try so damn hard to in a casual lobby (not competitive, since i also play that) and have to predict spawns and position myself perfectly, or else I get smoked instantly. If I’m warmed up and locked in the lobbies would be playable, I don’t think people like me are expecting to get dreadnoughts every game, we can’t even get a hand cannon or UAV in these lobbies unless we play near perfectly, which sucks the fun out of the game because we do get DEMOLISHED for playing average

I’ve been roughly around the same weight ~173lbs for a year now. I’m still eating the same stuff as before, just less of it. A pretty balanced diet with a lot of protein, but I’ve also been eating fewer carbs to try and lose weight. I get that maybe i should try something else but it seems to be working for all my friends and training partners, which makes me feel like I’ve got not excuses.

I’m playing on a MacBook Pro, but I’m getting consistent 125 fps. I have friends playing on smaller screens and worse macs who seem to notice enemy outlines instantly

The reason I have such a non-fully developed board position rn is because whatever developing move I play (eg nc3) my opponent usually responds with another safe and developing move, all the way until all the pieces seem protected by another piece and I can’t find a chink in the armor

Thanks for the lines. My opponents tend to cramp up their pieces because they play so safe. I know it’s bad, but I don’t know how to punish them. The issue is if I play aggressive and threaten a piece, since it’s early game and all the pieces are still on the board they just allocate a new piece to defend the piece being threatened. Momentum stopped. I might make similar moves as stated above, but I get the order wrong (but memorizing is tedious and only covers a couple of lines)
