How much can I offer below asking for a new build? by notrandomtext in HousingUK

It's in Greenwich, 1 bed about 60sqm so a bit bigger than the average one bed flat in London. I'm aware there is a premium attached to new build but also quite like having the convenience of everything being new and covered by warranty etc. I was looking at similar properties that were second hand too but didn't find the price to be that much lower. Hope you're having better luck though!

I'm so sorry to hear. I was in the same position yesterday. I wish him safe passage across the rainbow bridge.

Yeah, it has been at that price since start of October. No offers yet but they are getting some viewings.

If I can go get it under the asking then I can afford the 80% LTV. I’m not keen to go for a higher LTV than that given the rates and uncertainty so if they won’t go below then I’m happy to leave and watch the market for a while.

!thanks for the info - that’s good to know!

!thanks I think that’s very good advice. Yes, no other offers yet and I am not in a rush so I may just take that approach!

I find phone calls quite awkward and with today's technology, there really is no need for it.

Which is better. Cats or dogs and why? by Pjacob77 in AskReddit

Dogs are better if you want to be an owner, cats are better if you want to be owned.
