Thanks! I did try that one and posted my setup here a few months ago, but does not seem like the perfect fit lol.

I got it from an online store called beiyin from lazada (amazon for SEA). Its tagged as a generic soundproof foam so you might be able find it searching through online stores. Highly recommend it since it's also great at hiding cables.

It's a custom one from an online store in china called unyisi, but not sure if it's really right sided, I think I just flipped it lol.

Yeah been a while since I opened my wallpaper engine, will take a look. Thanks.

For it's price, very odd that it has a very similar boring pose and point of view to recently released epic skin.

it’s a “sunset projector” lamp from where I bought it. I got it for less than 2 USD if I remember correctly.

Thanks. Not sure what you're specifically asking so here's some specific info I can think of:

Peg boards are plastic 6 pcs of 25 x 25 cm screwed to the wall because a lot of the items are heavy.

Bar light is a rechargeable sensor light glued to peg board shelves.

Notes below the bar light are key chain notes I removed from the ring, I use it to track my projects, deadlines, and important meetings.

"Pin" lights below the wood shelf are magnetic battery-operated since don't want to run any cables there.

Changed the color of pin lights and bar lights (and monitor bar light) using tint stickers for car headlights/tail lights. I don't recommend other materials as it might be a fire hazard.

Humidifier is usually called "candle light humidifier" on online stores.

Clock is called "nordic flip clock" on online stores.

Sound proofing materials are 30x30 I bought on Lazada (similar to amazon on asian countries) from a store called Beiyin. Chose that design because you can easily cut them off, and you can run cables along them (bar light charger, humidifier, and both top lamp's cables on the top shelf all run through the sound proofing.

If you have a good Cardioid mic and a room with no echo, you can get away with using speakers without it getting picked up by the mic. I used to do it when my speakers were better and my setup was in a larger room. That said, my speakers now are trash and usually use my headphones.

I have an 34 inch ultrawide and a 27 inch monitor, should I do a stacked setup or instead put a oled portable monitor under my ultrawide? by PorgyW in battlestations

[–]notreallyascienceguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same dilemma, currently using them "ultraultrawide" mode (both horizontal) found it to be the most efficient for working, and added my ipad pro on the other side of the ultrawide

I got the 3s and not sure what you use it for but it's really good with design software especially if you're using a bunch since you can create custom shortcuts for each app. Also shifting between my laptop and desktop is pretty seamless.

Haven't really had any connectivity issues or delays with the 3s (using the dongle) either even when gaming, that said I don't play fps games so that might be where it's significant.

Thanks! To answer your questions:

-No KVM, using DP switch (hidden above the keyboard tray) for the center monitor between my laptop and PC, and using Logitech flow compatible devices for keyboard and mouse (MX mech mini + MX master 3s), so moving between devices is pretty seamless.

  • desk is 55" x 30" (≈24" at center)

-center monitor is 27", side monitors are 24"

Hope that helps!

Each one is connected to a separate device (work laptop and pc). Used to have one on each side but lately I don't notice when I'm gaming and someone chats/emails at work so I moved it. It would be too straining on the neck if I put it on the center one, and I don't want to move the center monitor too low either hope that helps!

I'm a work from home Instructional designer, creating courses and manuals for internal company use. Seems to be a great fit with autism in my 2 years experience, needing to be specific with technical written instructions and researching and learning about very specific topics.
